Have to say, when Mcdonald was on the ground whinging about it I was very surprised they didn't call it a sling tackle/dangerous tackle.

So the Jonas tackle and the Rozee bump were graded exactly the same. I'm actually LOLing right now. Thats absurd

Patiently waiting for a 15 min impassioned diatribe from Cameron Mooney about how it was all Tom McDonald's fault.

Hahahahahahahaha Jonas given 1 game for an absolutely outstanding tackle, a singular action, where the Melbourne players evasion efforts were what saw him stop and try to go under Jonas, which meant Jonas took him forward and down in the tackle. No secondary motion, no unnecessary or excessive action.

Incredibly poor adjudication.

I am not fussed about Jonas dropping out, but holy s**t, you have to appeal that on principal.

Jonas has NO other option than to let go of the tackle. A fair tackle, which was fairly rewarded.

Yep, the entirety of the force is generated by McDonald trying to evade. Jonas basically makes no movement apart from keeping hold of his jumper. No option other than to let go and allow McDonald to run off. No double action, no sling, no pinning of the arms, none of the hallmarks of these suspensions.
