What is your favourite pizza shop?

Been doing Marden Pizza bar (All'Italia)for years. Lots of people I know did Payneham, Perente back in the day too....until I put them on to All'Italia.

LaTrat doing a ******* good pizza too.
30 yrs ago Payneham would deliver beers & smokes with your food late at night.

Did break a tooth one night on a bit of a plate on a pizza, tax for the beers.

It’s so unnecessary. “A Mad Max Saga” is clearly a studio decision, in this idiotic Marvel franchise age.

It's pointless though because anyone who would be sold by the "MadMax" connection would know already.

La Trat is still wonderful, I hope. Literally flew into Adelaide and took one to a dear friend’s place in a cab the day old Andy retired.

Amalfi (since 1987, for me!).

Queens Head has a couple of lovely ones with either prawns or “Barossa meats”.

Love the old “breakfast pizza” (“#9 with chilli” for those with very long memories) at Riverside (Seaton). No longer in the late Laurie’s family but that receptor endures ;)

Used to get Vesuvios when I lived in the area. Uncle Charlies was magnificent before it shut down.

Where I am now is a blackhole for decent takeaway of any kind.

Nothing beats making your own pizza, I like doing my own meatlovers the key is to lightly brown some beef mince and spread it across the sauced pizza base before you add the other meats, cheese 'n herbs.

Whack it in the oven & love the meats

Did nobody tell you that Terminator 2 was on the telly?

T2 was on 7 and T1 was on 9.

Sonny’s pizza bar on OG Rd when I was living out that way. Sugo Pizzeria in Dulwich too. Pizza Chef Parafield Gardens is excellent.

Mad Max was just some cheesy low budget exploitation movie that managed to nail a few artistic elements.

Making into a big epic Hollywood thing is stupid
It's more how Mad Max 2 was iconic beyond expectations and one of the most influential post apocalyptic films and styles.

The cat was never going back in the bag after that.

Back in the day, where La Porta PIzzeria but they changed owners.
Old School and gone I think - Port PIzza House
Old, old school late night and no one else is open - PIzzas 4 U
Change-up - Bellini's, the Black Rooster was also a change up
Eva PIzzeria

When I was in the neighbourhood, Leo's on Prospect Road and Da Mario's Pizza in Athelstone.

Chico Palms is good for wood oven napoli style pizza. Roccos is good as well.

Amalfi on Frome Rd for a place in the city

Bellavita on Port Rd Allenby Gardens goes alright.
Good basic pizza and good value.

Pizza e Mozzarella Bar on Pirie St is one of the best in the city.

I like Bianca’s pizzas but just can justify the price.

Any pizza or italian food in general is usually high marks around Campbelltown, Newton, Athelstone, Paradise etc. for obvious reasons.

Panini Brothers at Newton is an awesome Italian Bakery btw nice lttle pizzas too, popular place line ups out the doors some weekends.
