Mission Impossible 2 is on the telly (the best one)

Tom Cruise has spent more time in the Yabba than you

When I first met my wife her friendship group had never had shrums before, I had some so they took them & we went to the Piccadilly Friday night session of MI2. We had to leave about 20 minutes in as we were so disruptive, our row of chairs were shaking so much I thought they would break.

Would do again

I’m with philthy on this one - I was in my local Woolworths and overheard some know it all make the same sort of comment - “it’s their territory”. Not overly offensive, just banal and a little heartless. Struck me as a very south australian sort of comment
It’s not about no sympathy for the people, it’s about understanding the shark isn’t to blame for being a shark.

Well the damned sharks should bloody well be held to blame, because they made the choice to be alpha predators.
And they have brains, so they should know better!
Step up to the plate, sharks and cop it sweet.
I'd be seeking compensation from them tbh.

Pretty much this.
We use to hunt down and kill countless sharks due to them being "Man eaters"
We have thankfully grown more aware that this is nonsense.
It's sad the kid died but you acknowledge it is the sharks environment and it shouldn't be blamed for what happened.

Only if yer a bit posh, else it's wrapped in newspaper, lotsa salt and vinegar...

It still happens in some places in the country for sharks to be shot following events like these.

I don't think it does anymore unless they can be sure of the shark and recover human remains.. so basically never.

Let's not pretend the Well if ya swim in the ocean #shrugs thing has anything to do with this.. lol

More people die from kangaroos than sharks.. and horses beat all comers.

Between 2001-2017 more people in Australia died from bees than sharks lol.

About 4000 people died from covid this year compared to the handful from sharks.

You're probably more likely to die from tugging yourself too vigorously in the wank shed than a shark 🦈

I had an encounter with a big ass crab at Largs once. Thing would have had a reach of at least five foot.

I had an encounter with a 'blind mullet' the last time I swam at Glenelg. Or maybe it was a Polly Waffle someone had carelessly tossed away.
