Smoking Joe just kept walking into Foreman's punches. Both were unbeaten going into this fight but no one expected Joe to be so brutally demolished.
Foreman was a monster, he hit like a movie super-villain. He destroyed Ken Norton in 2 rounds and Ken was tough as teak.
George demolished Joe in 5 rounds a few years later when Joe tried to box more defensively.

The five valuable Angus stud cows had been sheltering under a gum tree on a Tenterfield property when an electrical storm hit.
All the more reason for them to be trained where (not) to stand during a thunder storm.

Mainly to get to perve on the hot girls and get close up.
Didn't get any dates
Did win a premiership though

See that Tim Cooper has announced he's stepping down as MD of Coopers Brewery, to be replaced by current GM Mike Shearer.
Still get some mileage of the fact I had Melanie Cooper in one of my uni tutorial classes back in the day. She was a year or two ahead but repeating the subject I think. Laughed at my jokes and liked a chat so I actually imagined for a moment a working class Woody High schmuck like me had a chance with what I then thought was the perfect woman - attractive, rich and her dad owned a brewery. Harsh lessons in life were learned.

Actually watch that, then watch The Thrilla in Manila doco, that's from Joe Frazier's perspective for a pretty good compare and contrast into Ali's character. You might not like him any more
