expect plenty of tight shots of nice firm t***ies on ch9's body works next thursday......also fit women with great arses wearing hot pants.

Only stopped from a top 5 clean sweep by the BB Eviction which got 5th with 1.439

Awful lead-in, different night, different time slot. Worst of all for Seven, everyone who missed those two episodes (what does 24 usually score, Russian...bit over a million? So that's about ~200k missing) might not be so interested in coming episodes.

Those aren't the national figures, surely.

I'm sure I read somewhere today that it drew in 2.02 million between 9.05pm and 9.15pm - or something like that.
It does seem low but that is supposedly the national number.

It would be 7:15 to whenever the coverage finished (10:00 I think). For an hour of that there was no cricket, there would've been a big turn off when Warne got out with 60 to get, then people flicking back seeing how close it was getting. If it got 2 million for 10 minutes it seems pretty unlikely to average that low over 2.5 hours though

24 usually gets a bit over a million

Russian do you know how much Ten payed Nine to buy Sex and the City?

Well i'm not sure about this, so please correct me Russian if i am wrong but i would think that since has finished playing Sex and the City they dont see it rating very well as a repeat show and chose not to buy the rights to replay it on its network (ie cost-cutting) which meant Ten was free to buy the rights for it from HBO (i think thats who makes SatC)...

Correct me if i am wrong though, i would just be assuming thats what happened.

That's pretty much what happened, Nine's contract expired and they didn't want to buy the repeat rights

Good signs for Grey's Anatomy last night, winning the full hour of its timeslot. Numbers later but The Alice got past a million
Monday
Seven - 32.1%
Nine - 25.7%
Ten - 19.6%
ABC - 16.5%
SBS - 6.1%

Dancing with the Stars return date: September 6

OK the story on the cricket - that number was 7:15-1:59, OzTAM didn't cut it to when it was actually on. The real figure was 1.11

Housewives - 2.290
Grey's - 1.419
The Alice - 1.041
Enough Rope - 985k
Mythbusters repeat - 684k

Seven won everywhere

I quite enjoyed that Greys Anatomy show.. Isnt the type of show i would usually like but was quite good.. Kept reminding me of an un-funny/serious scrubs though..

Tuesday
Seven - 31.1%
Nine - 27.9%
Ten - 21.9%
ABC - 13.9%
SBS - 5.2%

1. Border Security - 1.805
2. True Stories - 1.592

All Saints a very impressive 1.307 over 2 hours
Idol 1.326
Frasier 1.225
7 def 9 News: 1.489 v 1.456
TT def ACA: 1.485 v 1.409

And the failures...
The 4400 - 917k (won't be on next week because they've decided Rove will do better at 9:00)
Taken - 465k
Rove - 677k

Seven is now only 0.6 behind Nine for the week

Seven's 4:30 newsreader, David Johnston will retire on September 23. Rebecca Maddern is tipped to replace him
And Ten will screen a 2 hour special called Ten - Seriously 40, which I assume is something similar to 7 Adelaide's successful 40 year highlights package from a few weeks ago, on Sunday week at 8:30, although if it runs as overtime as the Adelaide one did and Idol runs overtime, the F1 won't be on until 1am :p (it's scheduled for 10:30)

geez rove can only pull 677,000 punters nationally........he's going down faster than a pervert in oxford street.

what a talent this tiny boy is, these ratings make a farce of the logies when such an unpopular pip squeak can win the gold.

they should reformat the logies so that it's determined on a combination of people voting and ratings.......so you get a weighting system which would be a fairer reflection of a persons' real standing in the community.

Russian, what's the chances of Channel 7 winning Nationally and in Melbourne again this week, they had a terrible Sunday, but have made up a heap of ground, any hope?

Doubt it, Nine should've done pretty well last night although I haven't looked yet, Seven should win well tonight but the live footy into Melbourne on Friday night should kill off any chance they had.

But ch7 have got the 4593rd repeat of Grease.Surely that would be a ratings winner.

I gather they'll drag out the Sound of Music next friday.

Wednesday
Nine - 28.6%
Seven - 26.4%
Ten - 24.8%
ABC - 15.7%
SBS - 4.5%

Won everywhere it ever wins, 3rd in Perth. Ten also got 2nd in Brisbane and tied with Seven in Adelaide

1. House - 1.556

Nine won the news battle by 100k and current affairs by 15k, Seven won 7:00 by 2k

Beyond Tomorrow slipped again down to 1.18 having been 1.4 a few weeks ago. Chicks on Horses 1.324

Spicks and Specks was competitive for ABC at 8:30 with just under a million

Without A Trace won 9:30 with 1.185, The Glasshouse also competitive for ABC with nearly 900k

Nine lead the week by a point

With Alias replacing TAR, Seven would want to hope that it does the trick vs The Eddie/Fattyless shows. Could be closer on Saturday as well with Sydney and Brisbane having live Bledisloe coverage as opposed to a kids movie.

Thursday
Seven - 28.4% (won everywhere)
Nine - 23.2%
Ten - 19.8%
SBS - 17.5%
ABC - 11.0%

First session of the cricket was 2nd to Seven with 1.07 million, overall it got 747k. Nine was let down by Body Work with 714k and ICCYL with 641k.
Seven News beat Nine by 1k. I'd say it won't last too long but I can't really think of anything else to put there unless they move CC or WAT.

Lost as usual number 1 with 1.86, Alias about half that

Seven leads the week by 0.2

Programming
No surprise that Rove and Bert will host the Seriously 40 special next Sunday
