No love on here for any of the Danish noir thrillers on SBS? Love some of those. The Bridge was just awesome, with its haunting intro.
Danish / scandal avian stuff is often terrific.
Mads mikelson is fantastic.

By the way great great shame they closed down lilyhammer with stevevan zandt

Bull is good

Try The Exorcist, again based on the Movie

Anyone watching Mr Robot? Thinking I need to give it a look but can't convince the mrs to watch with me.

PS The FARGO series is incredible... Both seasons!

Mr Robot divides people, they either love it or hate it.

I love it, it's actually an intelligent show with some great writing and acting, but can see how some don't as it's a very complicated series at heart.

Just started watching Luke Cage on Netflix too, can't say I'm that impressed yet.

New series out today on Showcase/HBO called Westworld, looks really weird, but worth a shot I guess.

I enjoyed Mr.Robot at the start however it quickly become quite stupid

Like how he hacks a maximum security prison in about 2 hours and sets the entire prison free.. that triggered me, just dumb hollywood stuff.

I'm a bit the same with Mr Robot. I've got the second season sitting there waiting to watch but haven't found the motivation to do it yet. I thought the first season became a bit tedious.

Will check out Westworld. Currently got a few on the go. Halt & Catch Fire, Longmire, The Last Man on Earth, Atlanta, This is Us. Proabably a couple others. I lose track a bit. Agree with wicksy, Fargo is a ripper

Thinking of starting Parks & Recreation, anyone watch it?
I've watched a bit of it. I've been meaning to start it again and watch it through. Some funny stuff in it for sure. Its pretty light hearted (a bit like Community in that sense) and not bad for a laugh.

I just finished watching Stranger Things. Has a really cool 80s vibe. Beautifully shot, good characters and an engaging story. Kind of Goonies meets Alien with a hint of Twin Peaks. Really good!

Rick and morty is one of the funniest animated shows I've seen. 20 minute episodes, about to start 3rd season. Treat yaself!
Favourite ever show for me now. Absolutely brilliant. When does season 3 start?

Mr. Robot season 2 was awesome for me. That little twist half way through the season was so good.

Still can't go past Peaky Blinders. Such a great show, wish there was more than 6 episodes a season. Tom Hardy gives me goosebumps in the show. Such an awesome actor along with Murphy.

Suits season 6 was pretty good too. Don't quite know where they are going with it but I still enjoy it.

On holidays ATM but will be getting into Westworld when I get back. Also looking forward to Shameless and TWD to return.

Think I watch too much TV haha.

Agree on Peaky Blinders. Love it. Still have to sit and watch Season 2 of Mr Robot. Shameless and now TWD are my Monday nights done. I started Westworld the other week. Not sure its for me. I only lasted about 1/2 way through the first episode. Might give it another go. I was with you until you mentioned Suits, S6. Used to love Suits. Mostly for Louis. But even he tailed off this last season. I honestly thought the season was rubbish and I often sat there wondering why I was still watching.

Yeah Suits has definitely tailed off. I didn't mind the whole Mike in jail, was interested enough to keep me going, but yeah I know what you mean. I just cant see them having many more seasons after this one.

The moment Mike announced in the middle of the Prison kitchen that he was a rat, and there was no reaction from anybody, was the comical point for me where it turned into complete dribble:p

Been watching a bit of Narcos and Luke Cage on Netflix and I'm loving both.

No wonder why the tv channel is dying. Netflix actually go out of their way to PRODUCE this content and deliver it to us and good ol channel 7 is content shoving X factor for the 6th year in a row down our throats.

I just watched 2 mins of free to air tv and turned it onto Netflix. Free to air is truly pathetic.

A couple of fantastic shows on Netflix I didn't see mentioned:

1 - The Get Down, honestly such a fantastic show that oozes style and brilliant writing - about Grandmaster Flash and co.
2 - Longmire, now this is such a brilliant show about country sheriff in a backwater town in the US, season 5 just came out and I can't wait.

I strongly recommend Sons of Anarchy, Breaking Bad etc.

I love Longmire, so glad they did another series.
What is The Get Down about?

What is The Get Down about?

"The multi-talented Baz Luhrmann and a team of collaborators -- Oscar-winner Catherine Martin, legendary MC Nas, Grandmaster Flash, Pulitzer-winning playwright Stephen Adly Guirgis, and hip-hop historian Nelson George -- have created a music-driven drama that documents the emergence of a new art form. Set in the late 1970s, when New York was at the brink of bankruptcy and disco was dying out, the rise of hip-hop is told through the lives, art, music and dance of a group of young people in the South Bronx."

Even if you don't like hip-hop/rap please don't let that dissuade you from watching this, it's such a well written show with some fantastic characters and stories, the episodes are lengthy so be aware this isn't a quick episode here and there show! just talking about it makes me want to rewatch..

Thinking of starting Parks & Recreation, anyone watch it?
it's basically the US Office except Michael Scott is a girl and is set in a parks and recreation office instead of a paper selling office. It's not terrible but there's so much better stuff to waste your time on imo.
