what does close mean in a football league. Hadfield are probably more closer then North Coburg at winning more then 2 games. That is about how relivant your statement is that w.b are closer then the pies are at a premiership.

yeh couldnt agree more glenroy are quality. will intimidate most teams with there presence and also have the skill to go all the way. believe pacco have a praccy against strathmore will be a big test to see just where they are atI think you left your Caps on mate

fitzpatrick not consistent enough, i agree paco and glenroy should be a good match as was the case last year, top 4 in no particular order... paco, glenroy, taylors lakes, airport west...the next spot can be fought between roxburgh and sydenham.....lol to north coburg, hahahahahaha ashley crooks one of the worst footballers ever and i mean ever, there goal average will drop to 1.4
So of the 14 teams in U/18 B grade, here are my thoughts,
with the loss of by far and away the best team West Coburg to A grade and the majority of airport west guns going up the league is left with the best of the rest.
Roxy were next inline last year but the question on every1's lips is where will jellal be? he does qualify but he is an erradic mover between clubs and really should be playing ones at roxy.. however if he does play 18s his presence alone should put them up there as they accounted for both pascoe vale twice last year and beat glenroy in their only encounter.
Glenroy will definetly be up there in the top three but whether the real premiership contenders is yet to be seen. 2 years ago in the 16s they relied heavily on dulic the minute he was out the lost their only game(grand final), if dulic is regular cannons it will make it hard for the roys. however with the inclusion of jt it will help their midfield stocks with an added bit of toughness. up forward i believe if fitzpatrick has any sort an opponent with a brain in his head he won't be that dangerous though that might b hard to find in B garde, he might kick 60-70+ but he has to step up against the good teams. if they can intimidate they can go all the way however if they can't at this stage i see them as pretenders
Pascoe Vale were middle of the table in A grade 16's and beat the likes of doutta stars 2 years ago. they have to be a threat with best in league winner rachrache and goalkicking midfielder Perri, though "barney" will have to step up and become more consistent against good teams. they get the meroli's from the 16's who can play key positions at either end. Watason will be away for the second half of the season which will hurt paco as he is a key player and the heart and soul of the team. they have the talent to win it but i feel they don't have the heart as they aren't all close mates which is a huge factor in local footy.
Talyors are always good at home and will make finals with out a doubt. their victories over paco and glenroy last year will have to b looked at as proof they can beat these teams but there finals record over the last few years doesnt stand up. however this might be the year for them with the lack of depth in the comp. "turtle" in the engine room will b one of their best and if cantelmi is still eligable they will have a formidable midfield.
i'd say sydenham and east keilor will be about even with Green being the best for sydenham. very much a toss up between these two maybe east keilors with last years A grade experience.
Jacana i'd say will be the 6th going only on their premiership under 16's 2 years ago tho i feel now it counts for nothing.

how can anyone say paco will b up there? their best player raaf lacks the heart it takes to win finals, and that showed in their elimination final last season when they were beaten by the lions, raaf was held to only 9 dispossals for the match, he was covered well by number 1 for taylors.
