some shocking umpiring between willy and spotty,Great game.

some shocking umpiring between willy and spotty,
came close to changing the result of the game
Yeh I'd agree that the umpiring was poor but i thought both sides were evenly effected by the umpiring with both sides being hard done by at times and also both sides got charity free's so I don't think that it effected the result.

Hasn't been to many posts lately from the Altona boys.Just beat spotty is they ket thing you missed out on! the last two times willi have played spotty they have won by less then a goal, considering spotty canNOT make then finals, that is a pretty poor performance!
In the most recent matches Willi have lost to;
Hoppers
Werribee
Vales
Altona
And only beat port colts by 5 goals!
At the rate willi winning a finals match seems very unlikely.
Hasn't been to many posts lately from the Altona boys.
Beat spotty by 5 goals
beat port by 6 goals
Absoulutely flogged by Werribee.
Win a game by six points and they come out of the wood work.
What a w***er!!!

Sorry for the miss info on colts. Saw result on wrfl website and assumed it was correct.chicken legs the WRFL under 18A guru, altona didn't actually play port colts, colts forfeited so altona got the highest victory margin, which by the way was 9 goals not 6
Your forgeting that Altona drew to Werribee earlier in the year-out of form on their last encounter, and Altona have beaten vales 3 times, twice by 7 goals.
Haven't been hiding at all, just figured tonight seemed like a good night to post.
Interesting to note that Altona put Dean Pace , who has played the last year and a half in the seniors, on the U18 teamsheet last week when he actually didnt play cos he was injured!!!
Very interesting point you make Bustapaks you would think with the Senior sides season heading in the wrong direction fast surely they would be focusing on having all descent players that are available in the ones.Altona seniors had a great start to the year and after the last round loss to heights they are on the ropes surely with all the good work Eames has done the old selfish Altona is not about to rear its head, the one that chases glory for the individual and not for the greater good of the club.If Pacey qualifies for U18s who is the poor bloke that has played all year and now will be left out. Please Altona you have done well this year dont let yourselfs down by getting involved in this rubbish.Interesting to note that Altona put Dean Pace , who has played the last year and a half in the seniors, on the U18 teamsheet last week when he actually didnt play cos he was injured!!!
Altona have been very good in promoting the younger players to play senior footy yet now they seem to want to drop player(s) back to play underage after 2 years in the seniors!! Who benefits from that??? Not the players coming back and certainly not any player missing out on a game as a result of anyone coming back. Dont you think you can develop the players you have or is the trophy itself the main priority???How is that interesting?

If hoppers/vales had a under 18 player playing seniors, that was cabable and eligible to play under18 finals football they would play that player, no qeustions asked.
You can play 25 players or whatever the number is in under 18's(6-7-8 on the bench)
Altona only play with 4 on the bench each week, so bringing in Dean Pace to add an extra number to Altonas team isn't kicking someone out of the team, it means a player that has played the majority of the season in the B's wont play in the A finals.
Its not unfair, under 18 footy is playing to win, you play the best team you can anyweek, Dean Pace is able to play under 18 footy, so why wouldn't he.

Bangels would you agree Pacey is in your Senior best 22 when fit. Then surely it would benefit the club that he would play out the season in the ones and finish the year on a high surely that is the main issue or is it more important to Altona to load up the 18s and lose another Grand Final because you wont be Wezza. You can play 25 players or whatever the number is in under 18's(6-7-8 on the bench)

Different side last year but didnt you loose to StAlbans twice last year so home and away form means nothing.Did you just say Pacey is out for the next 5-6 weeks so if he was put on the teamsheet last week and you would know because you are in that side you have just admitted to cheating am I correct in assuming this as you cannot put a player onto the team sheet if he has a long term injury.Only on the day of the game is he able to pull out. I think you may have just ruined Altonas chances of getting away with that again.Pace is 5-6 weeks of playing again, and the Altona ones cant make finals and Altona 18's will!
Last year Altona beat werribee 4 times throughout the year, by 10 goals 2 weeks before the grandfinal.
Anything can happen on the day, and if Altona make the granny they are going to want todo anything they can to win it.
If Dean Pace can help Altona make up for lasts year dissapoinment, then why wouldn't he play
