It'd be good to know the injury to know the length of time he'll be out, some reports its his left shoulder but nothing concrete.

I heard they were looking at August/September for the new date so can't be that bad an injury!

Well that's not that bad then.. McGregor if his not injured and well prepared will spark Chandler and it's a massive fight for McGregor's legacy.. currently 10-4 in the UFC.. 10-5 won't represent how good he actually was.

Does that line up with the sphere?

That would 100% be something Conor would want to headline

He definitely mentioned him v Diaz at the sphere once before. Would laugh if Chandler misses out.

Surely he just gives it up at this point. I wouldn't be surprised if it's Chandler in a few months then done.

Does anyone else remember him talking about going on a "season" after the Cowboy fight? He's fought 1 bloke since then lol

I love a big McGregor fight, but his heart isn't in it anymore.

Seems like he still likes the idea of fighting, but laying off the coke and booze for long enough during a fight camp is an idea he hates

Tbf it was a career ending leg break and by all reports he wanted to fight during covid but theres no way the ufc were putting him in the apex and not maximising any gate returns

I think Covid ruined the actively initially after the Cowboy win and then he lost to Dustin which wasn't planned.. then the leg break ****ed the show.

He always claims he wants to fight. Hes always calling people out on twitter. He never fights so i wouldn't believe this tbh and during covid they'd have wanted the ppv buy money more than ever if he wanted to fight

Absolute grub behaviour by the UFC not announcing this 10 days ago, fans would have book accommodation and flights etc only to watch McGregor.
Meh obviously trying to book a replacement fight. Some fans might keep it with Pereira Jiri aswell. Can't really blame the UFC for McNugz

100% this. Conor vs someone during COVID would have been the biggest sporting event in the world by a mile. He just doesn't wanna fight anymore. Pererias fought like 10 times and won 2 belts in the time since Dustin broke Conor's leg

Seriously though Pereira is a G
From that walkout to the death state to the hands of stone his story and UFC career is the stuff of legends. For hardcore fans the non English persona probably makes him even scarier but man if he was American he could be such a megastar

Hopefully the truth comes out eventually.

Why would Conor post that image of him on instagram a few days ago?

Why would Chandler tweet about how neither he nor Conor had ever pulled out of a fight just hours before the official announcement that it was off?

Conor posting he was in hospital when he was in hospital. Solved
Chandler trying to pressure Conor not to pull out by saying neither have them have ever done it. Done

I don't think those are that crazy lol

Yea it was probably up in the air and Chandler trying to guilt him into staying in it

It mustn’t be that bad Ariel reckons he’d be right in late July / August just no slot, they definitely won’t put him in Manchester or Perth… if it is something to do with the leg you can’t blame him he went in with a injury last fight against Dustin and it ended up snapping.
