It is a disgrace that lisle isnt getting a game, complete lack of common sense, we are robbing peter to pay paul atm playing roughead in the ruck.

Terrible to watch.
crap game plan of over possesing the ball all the time without the players to execute the skills.
Every club has worked out that we have a team full of one sided players and they know how to block us in.
No one wants to kick the ball through the middle. Everyone from the back half goes way out onto the flanks for cheap stats.
I hate watching football in Tasmania. Ground does not produce good football and gets us into real bad habits of cheap stat chasing.
Any other side would be up by about 6 goals on us at the moment the way he have played that half.
Second half must be an improvement or the season looks shot for us.
Terrible to watch.

Ellis twice handballed to sitting ducks in the first quarter, Bateman also but don't forget that under no pressure kick direct to four North Melbourne players, Osborne giving away stupid frees and Lewis just poor skills. This list can go on but no need. Some blokes need a run in the twos, the only people looking good running out of the backline have been junior players, JKT and RS. The other thing that shits me is that it seems 3/4 of the side CANNOT win a contested possession. Regardless of what happens tonight, I'm starting to think the only team we can go into deserved favourites is against Richmond. The odds before this game were ridiculous, $1.30 to Hawthorn. Too many people living off reputation, both players & coaches - the whole lot need a rocket. It's going to be another long frustrating year and I don't care for reading the same excuses I read last year - just not good enough.

Can't wait for all the excuses to come again after this loss.. the loss of renouf was costly, but that does not excuse the pathetic game plan.. the only time hawthorn looked any good, was when they kicked the ball LONG... cannot believe how many passengers there are now... players may get the stats (Guerra, Ladson etc) but they have no heart at all...soft as butter

Brad Scott would have watched the tape from the pies game and told his players if you tackle this Hawthorn side they will cough it up.....this is our achilles heal, sides have worked us out. Expect more of the same. The only way to combat is to take the challenge on and fight fire with fire.
