Even when clubs, players and supporters think the game might an even run, this account reminds us of the pathetic spotlight diva's this bunch have really are.

Every game now, the intense bright light from the anus of the AFL goes straight to the 3 whistles and the absolute gobshite, now branded to as "Common Sense". The gobshite that now changes out week in week out, game to game, confusing the crap out of all and sundry.

In reality, the rules fraternity have been basking, pausing for their "me" moments from behind the boo hoo façade of "we need more, more power cause youse is all bullying us!". Safe in their belief, that they are the swinging dicks of the 2022 season.
I think the AFL is run along the same propaganda lines of North Korea …

I’m proud of what our club has done in dragging itself out of debt and becoming a powerhouse of the AFL. But as you point out there’s no benefit in being financially strong, we can’t even spend it on boosting our coaching stocks or improving our medical team. The soft cap has resulted in clubs cutting spending in those areas.

I get your sentiment, but of course there is benefit in being financially strong - hopefully you are just taking the piss. Our being financially strong just happened to coincide with the 3 premierships and we'll contend again and again whilst we remain financially strong. You want to see what the opposite acheives - take a good hard look at North Melbourne. If the AFL was serious about them as a Club they would strong arm them and say "off to Hobart you go Tassie Kangaroos" and their remaining supporters would be replaced eventually by Taswegians. We don't need a bye, 18 teams is a good balance atm.

In his post-match presser in the NRL last night, Roosters coach Trent Robinson has absolutely blasted the referee for his poor performance in last nights game v Panthers, including incorrect decisions, and non-decisions that have resulted in scoring opportunities to the opposition, and cost his side the game. Take a look at this video, which includes part of that presser, followed by the commentary team breaking the decisions down as well. Roosters coach blasting the refereeing
Not sure what rules the NRL have in place regarding participants (teams & commentary) making comment on the refereeing, but no mention by anyone about a possible penalty for him speaking out. Seems to be a good environment that you can, and should do this, after a poor performance by an adjudicator.
Just wish we could do it in the AFL, to highlight the facts of what keeps happening to us week in week out. You should be able to hold the umpires accountable for ineptitude. Imagine if Dimma could let loose?

Any chance we could see the likes of Whately, Robbo & Co push that barrow? Of course not!! Too busy kissing the AFL on the ****

Yes, send that over to the Fat Conductor at the Herald Sun - and ask him to give it a good hard think!!!!!

It's interesting that supporters of non-Vic clubs can freely and enthusiastically buy into a conspiracy that there exists a group of individuals administering the game who work behind the scenes to enforce and sustain some sort of "Vic bias", yet any suggestion that there might also be some form of bias against a particular club in the setting and enforcing of onfield rules is immediately dismissed. One is not more or less likely than the other.

Except if you have ever lived over West. From birth it is ingrained that over East is a bad thing and nothing good comes from it! ;)

The umpires are conspicously not paying dissent, and 50 metres from running in the protected area lately?
It's a different game than Round 1. I made a point of counting last night - there were 9 incidents not penalised in the first half alone that were given as 50 metre penalties against Richmond in Round 1. It's a joke.

Effectively, many of interpreted penalties that umpires enforced with such delight and determination on the Tigers in Rnd 1 are pure fiction this week.

North need to be put down.

The Umpires tried to get Adelaide over the line today versus Melbourne.

Clearly the umps are manipulating results and even end of season results

Will be interesting to see how big his fine is given they whacked him with a 20k fine last year.

From late 2021 Season

The Roosters have been issued a breach notice proposing fines totalling $40,000 after the alleged on-field abuse of match officials and coach Trent Robinson's controversial post-game comments

The NRL has proposed a $20,000 fine for comments Robinson made in the wake of his side's heavy loss to South Sydney, which would also trigger a previous suspended $10,000 fines for a similar outburst after the Roosters loss to Parramatta in May.

The club has also been issued a separate $10,000 fine for alleged abuse of the on-field match officials and stand-by referee Matt Cecchin, who was seated on the sideline at Suncorp Stadium.

Hipwood gets as much as a free pass:

The tribunal guidelines on careless umpire contact refer to players pushing their opponent into the direct path of an umpire and result in a player being handed only a $1500 fine.

Take out a player, an umpire and get gifted with a goal.

From this we learn:

Umpires do not operate as a team - The 2 others "common sense" dickheads did not give a shit about their team mate. Every man for themselves.

  • AFL do not not give shit for care about their rules. Hypocrites, jump on their soapbox about contact but are"
  • Happy to fine the hippy a bag of mixed lollies - 1.6k!!!? Chicken feed for a 650K player. Toby Greene should be "lucky"?
  • Issue a fine instead of a suspension.
  • MRO carrying on as AFL Barbradi again

Ok people, move along, there's nothing to see here.

But warning fellow tigers fans with regard to this AFL hypocrisy standard. Should our club find themselves in a similar position, the Richmond Tax (ref:Tigs71) will be applied with force.

I think there is a conspiracy with fox and other overseas broadcasters.

It is why they do not want the likes of Gale in because he would pick up on the level of possible corruption and the game would be brought into disrupt

Maybe...how long did it take to bring Crown Casino inline?!?

Notice every time a player was injured this round the game was officially stopped. Yet the AFL ticked off the Prestia play on last week. What a uselss bunch of morons
Hair gets tousled , stop the game, shows what a moron Brad, Gilligan, Steve are

They stopped the game in the third quarter to let a WCE player bring Willie Rioli's boot over to him and waited for him to put it back in before kicking for goal.

But it's ok to keep playing over a concussed person. They are self serving campaigners.

Thought umpires was outstanding today , missed one howler with jack head ripped off 4q but they’re never gonna get all of em
And yea , I noticed this R that they were stopping games when player down , this is a work place safety thingy those fw were reckless in what they did last week , wish someone reported them
