The Bolton double is going to be very telling (I guess every game is when it's so close). 2 games in 4 days, 6 points + 4 GD would mean we go top. I know our rivals would have a game in hand but that would be a nice psychological boost.

Surely Wenger needs to buy a striker.

I mean if NB is still injured, you guys really need that presence up front.

For your sake I really hope he goes into the transfer market. You've done well to get to this point without a recognised frontman (very well), but surely he needs to move for someone?

Not really down to his stinginess. No available strikers are appealing to him atm.

Pfff, Vela would own Bolton. He'll come on in injury time and score 3 goals.

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas (JET) could be one to look out for. Scored a few in the Championship earlier this season when on loan and scored a hattrick in midweek in the reserves.

Hes not injury prone at all. He had one MAJOR injury which still affects him to this day. Been a while since he had a extended spell out of the Everton side. Misses a week here or there and thats it. Problems he wouldnt have as a non starter

Just because he hurt the same knee three times does not make it one injury; he has also had multiple hamstring injuries, a groin injury, another knee injury, then after returning to full fitness did his hamstring again, which led to his departure from Man United.

No, he's not injury prone at all. The fact that you yourself have said his injury "affects him to this day" plainly indicates you agree that he is always going to be a fitness concern. We have enough of those, thanks.

There's nothing in the Premiership for us, if we're buying a striker we should be looking on the continent or further.

Traore giving us a rousing goodbye as he demonstrates just how not good enough he is, conceding an acre of space and almost a goal inside the first 2 minutes. Coughing the ball up repeatedly in dangerous positions, leaving the left hand channel wide open as he mysteriously plays the left back position from the ****ing centre of the park, along with Manuel "I'm not sure" Almunia it's a shock we haven't conceded yet.

Sub Clichy on at half time, please! I beg you Wenger!

60 minute mark I'm guessing for Clichy. Hopefully the ball doesn't go near Traore for the first 15 minutes!

That sounds all good to me.

Imagine our midfield line up without Cesc today. Starting another kind alongside Eastmond would have been very scary. I think Eastmond hasn't too bad, he seems a clever player. Really hope we don't have to start him again anytime soon though.

Get the 3 points!

Good win considering Bolton should have scored a couple. One of the worst first few minutes of a match I have seen from Arsenal.
I thought Eastmond had a very solid debut. It doesn't look like Traore is going to be a good defender and he should only be used as a left winger from now on. With all our injuries in the front half of the pitch at the moment he could still be very useful as a sub. Glad Clichy is back though.
Nasri and Ramsey are out for three weeks. Our injury list is getting ridiculous. As long as Fab stays fit for our tough run coming up then I'll be confident we can do well. Eduardo is getting his classy, quick one touch back but he isn't needs to get stronger.

How did Nasri and Ramsey get injured? FFS.

Words can't describe how good Fabregas is, he is arguably the best, most in-form player in the premier league at the moment.

Looks like the same 11 will be named for the return Bolton match at the Emirates, with one exception, Clichy in for ****ing Traore.

With a important month ahead, I reckon Arshavin is just about due to go BANG :thumbsu:

All in all I am actually sort of glad that Nasri didn't play. Weird thing to say, I know, especially because I am a huge fan of his.

Think of it this way, Rosicky got yellow carded when it all started to kick off. If Nasri had been playing he would have been right in the middle of that. We know he has a bit a temper (one of the things I like about him) and enjoys a bit of handbags. I think he would have got sent off.

On another note, reaaalllllllyyyyyy hope he isn't out for more than a match or two

He would of just done something behind play like usual :D

Very happy and relieved to come out of that with the 3 points, could have easily dropped 2 or even 3 points.

Our injury list is crazy at the moment. Thank god Cesc came up for the game, he was great. If he was out we would have started with Eastmond-Diaby-Merida in midfield which would have been scary.

Traore had a shocker. He just kept on coughing it up in the first half and he was completely owned by his opponent during the first 10-15 mins of the 2nd half. Verm and Clichy coming on helped him out. Really can't have too much of a go, what do you expect when 2 specialist LB's are out injured.

Really hope we don't have to play Traore and Eastmond/Merida for 90 mins anytime soon. The bench is amazingly weak considering we are premiership contenders, but once again what can we expect with all the injuries.
