Haven't listened to much Birds of Tokyo, but just had a spool through their music videos and my god, it is identical to corporate wedding video music.

Wish Ian Kenny had channeled his Karnivool side instead, surely 00s angsty nu metal fits the brief better.

They should have gotten Tangled Thoughts of Leaving to do an instrumental discordant drone so the players can chant whatever tf they want over it. Or better yet just play 'Yield to Despair' on full volume towards all Freo fans after we win a derby.

They were amazing for a few years, then they signed with EMI. Ooooooooof. All downhill from there.

Their Universes album still holds up.

Honestly, I’m so proud of this clubs on field achievements but also have been so embarrassed by our off field branding decisions.

I really thought this was in the past after we finally reverted back to our colours and got a good logo.

I love the traditional songs, and the way they're sung. If our new lyrics were sung in that fashion I'm sure it would be awesome.

I'm all for officially adding the Clutchings war cry at the start, that with some indigenous backing track to lead into our typical song would've done.

At this point, opposition supporters would've left the stadium before they get Eagled.

I actually rate the original West Coast theme song as my favourite club song. One of the very few songs that got my goosebumps going when your team walked on the field to it. This new version is just bland to be honest. Hopefully you guys change it back!

The timing with our female team commencing this weekend is good

Embracing the clubs respect to our indigenous culture is great

Getting a local artist like Birds of Tokyo to do it, yep sweet their music isn't terrible
