Taxes work great. The problem is they get so incredibly neutered due to countries being bought and paid for by corporations and the rich.

Getting rid of taxes is only going to make the problem so much worse.

Her policies were far more defined than Trump's and if you read them, offered more potential wins for the working class. And attacking (democrats, immigrants) was all Trump did, along with his usual detail-free promises of "I will fix it".

Its vibes, as others have said its not about policy anymore in the US, its personalities. And probably timing more than anything else, whoever was in power during the covid recovery years when prices just went up no matter what goverments did were always a good chance to get turfed, especially so when you're as underwhelming and vanilla as the Democrats. The 2 elections he's one have been against women too, simply can't discount that as a factor in the US.

A blowout race compared to one of the closest races with the most votes in history is 2 different things but Trump would and did talk to people in his rally he didn't go and hide. I personally think she should have not coceded but at least talk to her supporters and don't leave them hanging like that as they were waiting for her for hours.

The article clearly says it was the whites in the key swing States that won it for him. Yes the black and latino votes increased too, showing that the Republicans enjoy broad support across racial groups.

Issue is they said **** it and just started printing money instead of using the taxation. It's a changed system

Getting rid of taxes will just mean people who can't afford to eat can. You will have to pay a bit more for your iPad and your 60,000 dollar car to achieve that but i think the pain is worth the gain

Never underestimate the power of individuals to vote against their own self interest.

It's interesting all ready seeing Latino voters that moved decisively towards Trump acknowledging they have illegal immigrant family members in the US, but they believe they won't be impacted by any deportation.

I think a fair few people will be shocked by what the future holds.
