Even deporting just 1 million people a year is unrealistic and DonOld has told us there’s 21 million, maybe more (realistic figure is estimated at 11 million).

I both agree and disagree with this at the same time.

Problem is there are a lot of heavy left ideas that I think would win them more votes (student debt relief, expansion of affordable health care and being actively anti war)

But by the same token a lot of the left leaning takes on "culture war issues" (which to my mind shouldn't even rank in the top 200 of things to give a shit about, but apparently they do) that appear to be incredibly unpopular and turn a lot of people away. Anything you hear empty headed idiots refer to as "woke" tends to fall into this bracket (things like women's sports, gender identity of kids, diversity quotas)

So if they were to pivot towards the left without being too heavy on the culture war stuff they might have more success.

Harris' vote is down among women overall. Just a crazy statistic when coupled with the DNC rhetoric just 48 hours ago.

It's interesting as I think they believed that every women is absolutely in favor of abortion and they made that the only issue for women. I don't think they realize that a lot of women actually aren't that strong on the issue.

It was spoken about in our Mother's group and quite a few Mum's who really struggled to get pregnant (5+ years of IVF) really don't like the idea of it. (apart from obvious exceptions)

You also have older women that it doesn't affect and that are an older generation that are against it.

I think the Democrats thought the topic would really get people out to vote but it doesn't seem to have been the case.
