What potential? Was just a mediocre servebot who on a good day MIGHT be decent from the back of the court. Unfortuantely now players just wait for his serve to drop because they know he won't break you.

Catching up on the matches now, day session, 2 absolute head cases lost there 1st round matches. Rune and Sakkari, they are absolutely in need of mental work, to improve because if they get that right they could be anything.
Sakkari is by far the worst though, this year has gone out R2 R1 R1 R1 in the slams

Had such a huge chance last year to make an impact but completely failed. heck, she has won only 1 title and 7 runners up. That is an FAA type record.
Another nutcase lost as well. bublik. The "disabled" (Bubliks, not mine) Thiem beat him in 3

Yep and didn’t waste time too. Got it done easy plus Rune lost- great news for Novak’s draw
Finished the match, only issue was a few too many DF’s. But Novak mentioned he didn’t serve as well as he could in sets 2&3. After the Wimbledon final I’m a bit nervous about his serve, it needs to fire. Otherwise about the perfect start.
Avaneysan won a battle against Cornet, Cirstea, Andreeva and Kalinskaya all won, what a good day!
Some great matches on paper for day 2. Rublev/Ruusuvuori, Alexandrova/Fernandez, Wawrinka/Nishioka. Potapova has Tauson, you never know what either will produce. Can Fils get his first MD win against Griekspoor? Lys also looking for first GS win against Montgomery. Big chance.
