This isn't looking good for Venus
Is she going to retire?Won 2 more games than I expected

She only turns up at the main events and organisers will give her a WCHaha Captain Hindsight
I'm all for Venus getting as many wildcards as she wants but surely that has to make you question what you are actually doing out there... Just hope that she doesn't want a wildcard in Melbourne next year.
I obviously don't follow tennis that closely, I was astounded to see her name on Ashe. I thought I had like gone back in time 5 or 10 yearsShe only turns up at the main events and organisers will give her a WC
I actually didn't realise she was playing in the main draw until a few days ago.I obviously don't follow tennis that closely, I was astounded to see her name on Ashe. I thought I had like gone back in time 5 or 10 years

Saw that match earlier. Venus has no business being out on the court anymore.should be forced to qualify from now on, or retire

It's actually, kinda sad.
US events can do whatever they want because she still sells tickets/home player. Next year would be her 25th Open too so it wouldn't surprise me if she is aiming for that.
The other 3 slams yeah, I agree, shouldn't be given a wildcard unless proves form.
Terrible day for Aussies.
Apart from De Minaur, the only other Aussie that won is from the all Aussie match.
O’Connell played well. Up against Medvedev in Round 2 though. Good luck to him. What a s**t draw straight up .
young 18 year old American that could get valuable experience
and... just as importantly.. a U$81k pay packet
