Not a easy draw with Tauson.PotapovaBut at least Eva Lys won, her first GS win! Same for Fils who won a 5 setter!
I thought Tauson would be seeded by now, but she seems miles off it.

She's won 3 from 4 tournaments played. Edit sorry 6 tournaments.
Prob not as bad as some others on the tour half her age..
Venus has always been an easy target for people to bag out.

Yeah, I dunno. She looked pretty bad out there. Like shouldn't be on the court type bad.
I'm not bagging her out by saying that, I don't think, she's a champion and was always one of my favourites.
I don't get too watch match of the open during the week as in bed before the start and going to work at 7am. No watching at work for me. I'm recording and watching when I get home. Agree on Venus retiring. Go do something else. Maybe Sakari needs to take a break as she has been woeful. I also don't like the commentators.

He does seem to like the new york courts. His results have been okay this year, he did make an ATP 250 semi on grass. He's still developing power in his game, it's probably going to be the key for him to climb the rankings

Is it though if you have made 2 slam finals in the last 12 months? Let's apply reasonable logic instead of recency bias.
As for Nick, well, he only wish he was ever ranked that high....

What about the other 2 grand slams though. I'd have zero issue with him seeded say 10th, it's why every slam should use discretion not rankings, I've been saying it for years.
