Ormond v OE: Unless something drastic has been done about the inaccuracy down at Keilor Hill, im tipping OE to again kick themselves out of the game, and be left to rue missed opportunities. However we all know the early bird catches the worm, and OE may just be that much more switched on at 9.20am.... lets just hope its not the silkworm that is caught!!!

Old Trinity v Bulleen Temp: Tough game to pick, both teams very good on their day, hoever as i illuded to before, BT may not have the firepower to get over the line, especially away from their home ground.

Old Menton v Bentleigh: Bentleigh to smash the short people from Mentone, who without their school boys would struggle to be competitive in u19(north)!! Fridman to K.O at least two players

Oakleigh v MHSOB: a no brainer, Oakleigh to comfortably account for a very ordinary Melb High. Oakleigh could win without getting out of second gear, and could rest their prime movers if they chose to.

or i wonder if its the fact that once again tomoro there are 8 guys playing seniors for OM.....
Also Fridman wont be playing, so all in all another moron post whiteGOODMAN, keep up the good work

So what, goodman wasn't asking for excuses why they would get beaten, he was simply saying that they would. U need to harden up a little bit knackers...
 
OM downed Bentleigh by 70 odd points(with 8 players playing senoirs and a further 11 playing a game beforehand). not a bad effort for a team of short people that apparently need to harden up.....
any thoughts ralph? how bout you goodman?
 
OE answers the call...finally finding some form in front of goal. guttsy effort by ormond but OE just wanted it more.

intresting to c the scores of the OE and monds game to be low scoring... 2 running side and a small ground would of thought it would of been a bit more free flowing...

any1 kno that now melb high have folded too... does this mean the bottom team will not get relegated bcos theres already 2 outof the comp? wats the go with that? any1 kno?
 
the only reason why the game was so bloody low scoring is the quagmire of a ground the monders threw up. the white shorts will now alwasy be a nice black colour. good game btw.

titeleash, yes you boys won, but i wouldn't really jump around, bentleigh probably had its weakest team on the park this week... they had 3 players that had to fill in the reserves and then had to come straight to mentone to play you boys, and with only 1 on the bench the younger group felt it!

With 3 players playing seniors, neither of the captains playing or a further 6 key position blokes who are out injured I'm sure you would agree bentleigh were undermanned aswell.

The side that played you boys was basically one that has just come out of u17s with no u19 experience.

However credit is given were credit is due and you boys deserved the 70 point win!

Do i once again have to remind you to read the post you're replying to before you actually reply to it! I never said that the boys from Mentone needed to harden up, I said that you did champ...please don't post again until u get this right

I'm sure the only real thoughts Ralph and White have are that you're an oxygen thief and should stop stealing this precious resource.

i heard the milkman copped a wristy in a dark alley whilst milking a jersy cow for a minimum fee of $6.50.
but wat about that tim speers. kicked 2 goals on debut in the ones hes gonna be a force in the 19ns when he returns. If he returns. watch out lads he will certainly deliver some milk.
and you should have seen him in the showers, he was also quite dominent under the nosel.
 
Once again KR was spot on with his predictions for the weekend's action! Great to see BT show their competitive with a hard fought win over Trinity and Mentone still in the hunt for September glory.

But...what about the Ormond v Essendon game?

Played with great spirit and intensity and delivered the goods with a hard fought finals like game. Ormond now find themselves 4th and Mentone close behind after the loss. Was interesting to see both Rodwell and Lack both playing for the Monders who obviously went all out in a bid to win the match.

Would like to hear others comments on the match and what it means for both teams now.

BT V OT game was buy all reports a cracker. Sadly couldn't get down to OT this week to see the game, but from what ive been told BT kicked 5 goals in the first 5 minutes of the last qrt to build a 3 goal lead with 2 late OT goals.
 
Looking foward to the Oak V OI contest, could be a GF preview and might see OI be handed there 1st loss.

BT V OE will also be interesting. OE have more to play for but BT as we keep learning will never say die. Close game last time but late goals saw OE win by 30 off points.

Ormond to clean up Bentleigh. However Bentleigh a becoming a real pain for the top sides and never giving up without a fight.

OT with a bye, and do we know if OM get a bye now (MHSOB) as with the rest of the comp?
