seems like an odd decision
I'm no expert but I think we can take the fact that the helicopter was there but wasn't needed as a good thing?
Was at the ground, unfortunately an awful end. However that was a shocking way to play a short ball
seems like an odd decision
Given Hughes' relationship with most of the NSW team, I don't think anyone was in a rush to get back out there today. Would have been far more odd for them to come back out.seems like an odd decision
You really are the biggest ****wit on this board, don't know how anyone can think otherwise. Have some ****ing respect.Maybe so but lets not pretend he played a military medium short ball
Well. Long term he needs to work on this. Not saying for one second that I don't wish him the best in his recovery.

Neither were life threatening.so do they call the whole match off? Sure he fell face first, but he'll get the best medical treatment, the game should go on.
Do you stop sport for every seemingly serious injury? James Hird getting his face smashed in? Voss when he broke his leg in mid air?

I think this is a bit more serious than a broken leg. I'd rather not take any risks.so do they call the whole match off? Sure he fell face first, but he'll get the best medical treatment, the game should go on.

Yeah just reading that he was worked on for half an hour on the pitch. That changes things. If a bloke needs CPR then yeah
Can't imagine Abbott being willing to bowl until Hughes condition is stable. Obviously the right decision to cease play. This was a life or death situation as I understand it. Abandoning play for the day seems right to me.
