It’s hard to actually make a judgement call because we haven’t actually seen either email, just a summary. When I worked at a supermarket, plenty of people would complain a lot and it ran a full spectrum of rude to polite. Just because you think the initial email was polite doesn’t mean it was, and without seeing the reply, we can’t make a determination on that either

The best case scenario when emailing about a matter of opinion (player signing, team makeup etc.) is basically just an auto reply. They get thousands of these things a week, so if the initial email sounded like someone angry with the signing, an email back with options to cancel the membership isn’t particularly surprising.

I mean, the club could have easily responded "well I'm sure he won't take long to convert you" or something to that effect.
It's not something I care too much about but gee wizz say something against the BigFooty hivemind and they jump on you pretty quick.
They could have finished at the first sentence or added:
Thank you for letting us know your thoughts, we trust the list management team to do the right thing.
Agree with this.
At the same time, it’s not like Bell or Garlick is answering these emails, they would never even see this type of correspondence.
Probably some intern or kid on minimum wage replying to this kind of thing.
FreoGirl concerns about the trade are fair and valid. It’s a perfectly reasonable position to take. We paid an extremely high trade capital price in an excellent draft too by all reports. If this price had been paid in the 2020 draft for example, we’d all be laughing now but it could be very different in 2024.
I thought we overpaid too, but we still had to do the trade. JLs career is on the line next year. He fills a massive need for us. Another 3 kids at peel aren’t much use to us in 2025.
There is no questions on Boltons talent - he’s absolutely class. The question is will he bring the desperation and willingness to go to extreme lengths, over a sustained period of time in his play? Thats just a non-negotiable thing that no player can avoid in a modern premiership side regardless of their talent.
The reality is Bolton phoned it in for most of 2024. None of us know the reasons why this happened. If that continues at freo the trade will be a big L for us.
I just hope he plays like a player that never won a flag before for the next few years. Driven, desperate, hungry for success.
If he does Freogirl needn’t worry, we will win the trade easily.

Bet you the campaigner turns up for preseason fat and ****ing lazy
Tie the lot of em up around the Optus concourse and anyone who showed half a brain from the fans (by my count about 3 others on here ) get to scream WHAT THE **** WERE YOU THINKING in their face from 2 ft away till spit is dripping off their stupid ****ing noses

IF, the email is directed at those named,, then yes it will get to them.
I have written may emails to the club and the heads of the club, like Alcock and Garlick . I have always had a rsponse from them personally. Even had phone calls from Dale Alcock about my emails.
So yes, they will see the emails.
I wrote earlier on to Simon Garlcok about the Fremantle hall of fame. The HOF started by the club to highlight the past players from both South Fremantle and East Fremantle. I was acknowlwdged by Simon by email. I ran into him at the 30 year reunion at Perth stadium recently. He told me without my asking that he had handed the query to the football media person, whose name escapes me at the moment.
So yes, they do get the emails sent.

Better, and only way to del with it, is to contact the club and ask to speak to Simon Garlick or write directly to Simon Garlick

The best way is to have eye to eye contact with the club. Speak to Simon Garlick or evenBell, but someone that has a high stasnding.
Dragging this sort of stuff through the Worst Rag or social media will do no good.
