Hi all,

Just wanted to pop in to say thanks for your patience with the stream today.

Clearly there are some issues with the way it's being implemented by the provider and we'll be working closely with the AFL and Telstra to either have these rectified for next time, or make the decision to look at other options to stream.

Thankfully the issue did seem to be fixed up for much of the second half, but it's really disappointing that our fans had to put up with the buffering, glitching etc. in the first half in particular, particularly having gone through a registration process.

Hope you managed to enjoy the win when things were up and going again.

Cheers, Rob.

Any chance of getting a replay on club app

It’s mainly around live streams having to be done via the club website, not YT etc, as part of the broadcast agreement, so makes things a bit more complicated than just going straight to YouTube, for example.

My understanding is that future games that aren’t either on Kayo Freebies or Seven will be able to be streamed via club YouTube channels, so we’ll hopefully see some improvement there. Fingers crossed.

Really appreciate the feedback, it’s just as frustrating for us putting out an inferior product for our fans.
Appreciate the effort Rob. I got stuck at the registration and eventually gave up after multiple attempts. At least the radio broadcast worked. Any chance of some coverage of the girls games?

Worked perfectly in the second half.

State league affiliate: North Melbourne (VFL)
This weekend: North Melbourne v Coburg - Saturday June 19, 12pm, Arden St Oval

Will Phillips brought his own footy to North Melbourne's tight three-point win over Coburg, recording 30 disposals, nine clearances and seven tackles.

Big man Tom Campbell also had a day out, finding plenty of the ball with his 29 hitouts, 21 touches and nine clearances.

First-year defender Patrick Walker (23 touches, 10 marks) was strong overhead, while fellow newbie Eddie Ford (16, six marks and two goals) was also in the Roos' best.

Phillips kicking to his forward's advantage shows his long term role, and just plonking him a forward pocket in the ones just for the sake of game time doesn't necessarily speed up his development

So yeah, it WAS having heaps of injuries that made that VFL side crap. Now blokes are back they are winning.

Not the "woke brigade" stripping the VFL side of resources that went to W instead.

Hopefully we can no longer hear these kinds of delusions, given they've been fundamentally disproven.

Menadue finding himself in a fair few clips. 2 goals in the end iirc, snap shot near the point post and set shot near the boundary on the 50. At least two plays where he's streaming forward from the backline ball in hand and has a couple of bounces.
