so why did ben refuse the test and why is he going to rehab if he doesn't have an addiction problem?
He was embarrassed needing viagra to have a quickie in the backseat?so why did ben refuse the test and why is he going to rehab if he doesn't have an addiction problem?
You do realize that if you had all the notes in your wallet tested it is very likely they will test positive to some of the above?
I can't believe so many are defending this junked up tosser.
Even the guilty have a right to natural justice
Very few deny Cousins is a twit - what many (even non-WCE fans) are arguing is that he was denied justice.
FWIW - he should have been sacked for simply bring more controversy to the game = but that doesn't mean he is guilty of this crime
Protecting civil rights > Drug problem in AFL
Was the $20 note fresh off the mint? Handled by no one but Cousins?
There was a doco on this recently (coincidence?). 80% (of notes) had 'traces' of illicit drugs embedded in the tiny tiny plastic fibers.
Who were these women and why hasn't ANYTHING been said about them officially??
If the drugs in the car weren't his, then they must have been one of the girls. Has either/both of them been charged?
This is all just too bizarre.[/quote]
Welcome to a day in the life of the WCE FC..
Chief Wiggum would be better than the WA police.IIRC;
the police originally stated he was pulled over because he was seen to be driving erratically (by 2 cars full of organised crime detectives),
the police indicated he was charged with refusing a blood/urine test, only for that to be retracted and replaced with a failure to undertake a drug assessment
the police charged him with having a prohibited substance, only for the DPP to throw the charge out and
now the police state that a number of drugs and traces of drugs were found in the car, but no charges have yet been laid, because the police have yet to determine their 'ownership'.

Viagra/Ecstasy combination is very well known. The traces of cocaine and ecstasy found might give those carrying on about the so called injustice a reason to why Mr Cousins refused a drug test....

How many girls use viagra?
How many girls use viagra?
And of course the greedy little whore kept all the drugs to herself and Benny the wonder boy didnt have any at all.
West Coast supporters are, without doubt, the most stupidly naive people on the planet.
How many girls use viagra?
Ummm, Escorts carry Viagra for certain clients.
Not unusual at all.
Actually Escorts carry all sorts of drugs usually.

Thanks for clearing that up! So does that make Ben a certain client? Or was he just catching a ride?
My understanding (which is getting more vague by the minute) is that the Kluger WAS Cousin's car. Now we are getting conflicting evidence that one of the girls was driving the car (which Im sure the sponsors would be thrilled about). How could the cops ask Ben to take a driving assessment (blood test) if he wasn't driving?
This is just ridiculous.
So let me get this straight.. based on the bits of info that have been surfacing since he was arrested:
-Was not driving the car?
-Drug possession charge based on only a few Valiums on his person?
-Other, harder drugs found in the car, but can only assume they belonged to the other passesgers as he wasn't charged for it?
-Lengthy, very public search of vehicles obviously didn't yield the results they wanted/expected, otherwise i'd assume they wouldn't bother testing for traces of drugs on notes? (i'm ****ing bemused by this, surely that is so weak as evidence that probably wouldnt be accepted in court..)
-Asked for a breath test which was given, even though it has been reported that he wasn't the driver?
-Is it safe to assume that he does actually have a script for the Valium if the charges are dropped?
-Arrest seemed like a planned sting?
-Media tipped off as well to top it all off
-And then questioned for 7 hours or something....
Just what the **** is going on?
Also, does anyone know if it was actually his car or someone elses?
