Collingwood have it best of all the Melbourne based clubs, and we have Eddie to thank for that.
So yes if comparing Collingwood to Hawthorn, Carlton or North we have it better.
Na, I would love to head to Geelong, but Geelong want to play in some MCG BLOCKBUSTERS.
Geelong have the best situation of ALL clubs, 9 games at their own unique ground where they enjoy a full HGA.
They then get 5-6 games at the G, almost the same deal as Carlton and Essendon...may as well call them an MCG co-tenants, as they have played only a handful less games at the G over the last decade as Carlton n Essendon.
It must be frustrating when your delusional VICBias conspiracy theory gets debunked at every turn.

Total differential means FA, show us where Richmond has been on the end of a 0-15 Free count against a non Vic club by a single umpire.

And despite also working with Essendon for the Country Game at the MCG, Geelong are also actively requesting to get out of it.
Geelong's home ground advantage is markedly higher than any of the other 17 teams, including the non-Vics. Who else gets total training access to their home ground during the week, every week?
Compounded by the fact that it's also the most uniquely dimensioned playing surface in the league. Getting to repeatedly play out game scenario drills and strategise to your heart's content on a playing surface that no other club gets more than 2 hours per season on is surely far more advantageous than any Melbourne-based club enjoys.
As far as I know, Richmond, Collingwood, Hawthorn or even Melbourne don't get to train at the MCG during the week. Yet when they turn up on the weekend, these schnedleys are trying to convince me that this is suddenly a huge advantage.

Geelong request 11 games at GMHBA every year.
Since the AFL will not grant that request, Geelong request as another option that our MCG home games are against certain sides, ie Easter Monday/Country Round and Collingwood/Richmond.
Yes we have a pronounced home ground advantage. That is because we retained our home ground at considerable expense to the club (and thanks to significant help from government funding).
Whether Richmond get to train on the MCG is Richmond's problem, not Geelong's problem. Geelong have a home ground and it is not unreasonably to expect that Geelong play their home games at their home ground. If Richmond want to have the same advantage they can pay to redevelop Punt Road Oval and host interstate sides there.
