I definitely think Geelong should be getting home finals.

It'd be fair for the team, but only 40% of fans could go.I definitely think Geelong should be getting home finals.
Dunno why you’re all morning about it this year when it’s a non-factor..... exactly...
Now let that happen every year when a non Victorian team is top?
That's probably cos you never were clearly in front in any of your grand finals.Funny how I’ve never heard eeeeeaaaaggggllleeesss resonate around the mcg.
You do at home of course.
You just have to look at the shots of the crowd to see it’s 5-1 or more.

The AFL call it home state advantage. There are no finals in Geelong even if it's a low drawing non-Vic club.If doesn't make sense to me that whether a team has home ground advantage or not is occasionally influenced by how big the opposition fan base is.
We played Ethan Hughes for parts of our season on the wing.P
Josh wasn’t really a high pick, he only came good when his brother arrived to upstage him and even then has gone missing last 2 weeks.
There are no finals in Geelong even if it's a low drawing non-Vic club.
That's not true
I theoretically could happen if the MCG is in use on the Thurs/Fri/Sat of qualifying/elimination final week. Wont happen any other time,
You say that like it hasn't happened before
Has there been one? That's not true

Yep we got sent there in 2013.Has there been one?
You dont need to be in front to get a chant going. That's probably cos you never were clearly in front in any of your grand finals.
This is how a star player gets 150 games in the wafl:Way to he deliberately misleading.
150 games from any player playing in the WAFL. easily way more eligible fathers than 100 games for 1 club.
Father/son is just a game of luck. Some clubs seems to have a tonne of them, others have had barely any.
It's their competition, they can do what they want. This is how a star player gets 150 games in the wafl:

Played 67 games for geelong - earnt father son.
Needed 150 games in the wafl.
THESE THINGS ARE NOT THE SAME.
The palpable anger on social media about the gf bullshit is building. Facebook, reddit and quora blowing up.
The WA wowsers dont actually know what they are moaning about.Geelong the only club in the league to not be granted home finals but somehow we’re advantaged due to ‘VICbias.’

We played at Homebush where two thirds of the team hadn’t played (not an SCG final for finishing first). This was part of a deal the AFL had signed up to. Another masterclass in the AFL negotiations. No again Swans 2016 does not count, you forfeited the 1 seed when you lost to GWS.
Eagles have had 6 father son picks.

The higher minimum game requirements cancel out the fact that SANFL and WAFL clubs get the entire league to pick from.
Would you rather it be 100 games but you could only pick kids from West Perth players?
