Let us know what server you sign up for. I Primarily play as Healer/DPS and craft stims

Geez, I know it's a MMO but gees SWTOR just feels like a mega errand fest. So dry.

For context, I am a level 7 smuggler still on Korriban doing my class specific missions.

Does this game get a little less linear and more open ended soon? Any chance I can actually get a ship and do some smuggling at some point?
 
Smuggler starts on Ord Mantell don't they? You are best staying there until you finish the zone and get access to the Republic Fleet and Coruscant. You choose your advanced class on the fleet (scoundrel = healer or melee stealth dps/gunslinger = ranged dps) and the tutorial is pretty much over. You get your starship at the end of the Coruscant zone.

The quest types are still standard MMO fair, but the actual dialogue and light/dark choices make it feel more involved. Getting your first companion helps a bit too.

I was to busy levelling multiple characters in SWTOR to play the content added the patch prior to the expansion, but being made to play through it to get to the expansions new contentry, it was pretty impressive. I expect that Shadowe of Revan will continue that forms.
 
Stop it. I'm drunk(ish) and am highly susceptible. I hve enough MMOs in my life.

TheBrownDog have you had a chance to play with the new Hearthstone cards in the Arena? A lot of craziness and unpredictability at the moment. The new meta will be madness for a while.

Not yet. My Hearthstone playing is pretty casual at the moment.

nigelicious is way into it and has showed me some of the new cards. Some real dynamic changers from what I have seen.

I haven't checked whether the population has spiked post the general release of the expansion, but no MMO content release goes smoothly...

A bit, yeah. I finished Coruscant a couple of days ago so I have my ship now.

That said, barring a couple of Heroic quests where I had to group up, I've essentially solo'd my way to level 19 so far. It really feels less like I am playing a MMO and more like playing KOTOR 3 with some bolted on online functionality. :p
