At the Preston vs Heidelberg game from some reports, an elderly man was knocked unconcious by some Preston supporters. Now I wasn't there but I know the police got involved and I know Preston are on their last warning in regards to crowd trouble. Now what caused the incident is debatable as both sides will have different stories but I'm quite certain that the elderly man was not looking for a fight.

It's bad that a few idiots have to stuff it up for an entire soccer club, because many Preston supporters acted with dignity and shooks hands with opposition fans before leaving.

The FFV better act on this, if a case is to be answered, supporters have the right to support their side safely at any ground.

- Alexander makedonski banner was a disgrace.

- welcome to hell banner almost had me on the ground laughing.

- 3 heidelberg supporters making more noise then about 50 preston lads, top effort.

- Heidelberg fans need to be congratulated, kept quiet, were being provoked by the preston fans who were looking for fights, bergers fans to mature for that.

- The silence that went around the stadium when heidelberg scored the winner was priceless, preston fans dropping their heads and walking away, heidelberg players and supporters barely celebrating the goal but still it had to be satisfying getting them at the death.


As for next week, mark it down channel 7,9 and 10, the way the preston fans carried on yesterday, the sh1t will hit the fan at bob jane. Its inevitable, i mean half their fans were following the bergers fans across the ground, they are racially taunting them like right in front of them, i dont think the south boys will take that behaviour, obviously the numbers will be much different this time.

The man that got bashed was released from hospital last night and should be ok, it didnt look good when it happened though because they were saying he was in deep trouble.

The worst part is, the man got bashed in front of his little daughter and wife, all of this just because he said " alexandros". Could you imagine us knocking them over for chanting makedonia, i will like to see how preston will handle the chanting next week. Seems to me that they are sooks, they love dishing it out verbally, but when opposition fans start chanting and start making noise they become very annoyed.

Oh and apparently you had the older preston supporters, 40-50 year olds encouraging their young fans to hit the old man.

Actually I'm not sure if they know who did it. I agree with the statement and it baffles me to think how they could defend this he is upward of 40 and at an away game with odds of about 30-1 to home supporters.

if your walking out of a ground and you have about 1000 other people walking out at the same time as you and you start chanting political slogans, then yes you are inciting violence

Whats gonna happen on sunday when preston fans cop " ellas ellas makedonia" chants.

Chanting is part of football, alexandros happends to be heidelberg's name, they can chant it whenever they want.

I bet if a similar thing happends on sunday to a preston fan, u will change ur tune.
