The scoreboard at the time may have been within a kick but at the end of the game, they had kicked out to a lead quite similar to what happened yesterday. It has always bothered me that people raise that one as it makes us look a bit hypocritical, especially after the Richmond Elimination Final a couple weeks earlier where we benefitted from that Ben Cunnington non-free kick. Yep. It's not even physically possible as far as I'm aware to take a mark and not be realistically in an attempt at doing so. Was an absolute rort.

1st off congrats on the win. I wont be blaming the umps, just stupidity and discipline (well, lack there of) for giving way those 50 metre penalties in vital parts of the game. Your twin towers in Waite and brown were difference makers.

I will say this. I would love Ben Brown at Freo at the moment, he would help freo a lot in our forward line.

Most people have North in the Bottom 4 with less than 6 wins. I said on the main board take away last season, since 1985 when they got 5 wins, the least amount of wins they have got in the last 33 years is 7 wins.

The pressure applied and the ability to hit the ball to advantage in that situation was amazing. Just refused to let them win the footy.
