Every time I see the Swans line up, I'm always impressed by the talent but for some reason they can't seem to get the job done. I'm expecting a similar result to last week but looking forward to it. Certainly hoping for improved weather conditions!

4 goals now... wow. His decision making has been pretty strong I thought, even if he doesn't always execute perfectly. Has looked at home at the level and kicked accurately for goal, could've had five with one set shot falling just short.

How good was Taj Stanley Allies/ Perth in the first final of the colts WAFL. Kicked three goals, 10 marks and 15 possessions in a losing side. Is hard as nails and has a real presence. Would be an awesome late pick for West Coast or Rookie listing.

You would have to think so. I have always liked the look of him. Is still raw and has an unconventional kicking style but doesn't hinder his ability to hit the scoreboard and impact around the ground. Any club that gets hold of him will tidy his kick up. Kid was relatively unknown 6 months ago and is now arguably the best performing out of WA. Attended the game on Sunday. Never seen anything like it from an 18 year old at senior level. What you cant see on his highlights package is the work he does off the ball and his ability to just continually outwork his opponent. In arguably one of the toughest positions on the ground the impact and pressure he applies both offensively and defensively was unbelievable. Dare I say it, but could he be the first taken out of WA?

Swans defence looked very fragile in the second half, with West Perth making plenty of space. It looked like they were going to be overrun, and yet … the Swans managed to get two late and won it. The snap from Cathcart with a few minutes to go (played on from a holding the ball free kick) was very good.

Kept his head with the seconds counting down to win the game. Courageous choice by the coaching staff to move him forward. I’m going to have to rethink their coaching. They have made some weird choices, but this one worked.
