Not many Vics know a lot about Wade, but the Saints should be looking at him as a possible Battle replacement. We are apparently interested in Jai Serong, Wade is a bigger body averaging 7 marks per game and playing just aswell in the VFL as Serong.

Career suicide. Moving to a team that has 3 A grade tall defenders as is with Petty waiting in the wings to go back to his best position thereafter. If Tomlinson couldnt get a game not sure how much better off Derksen is going to be

I assume that is where he will try and make it work.
I wonder if they'll recruit him as a key forward then when a spot opens up for him Goody will say yeah he actually doesn't kick goals and leave him in the VFL like he did with Fullarton in the ruck.

Are there any rules around trading Rookie list players? Does he have to go to primary list of destination club?

If he was OOC they can sign him this way, don't think a trade would need to be done in that scenario. If we choose to hold him to his contract he can still remain on the rookie list.
