I think Cavkas issues were known. We thought we got a steal when he fell to our pick. Seems the other teams did their homework.
Out of interest, who do we think from the senior team should be selected in the WAFL team next week? Should we give Jetta another run to let him keep building momentum?
Also, what's the situation with Tunbridge? I know he's not allowed to play wafl because of the AFL suspension, but doesn't that mean a 3 week AFL suspension turns into a 4 week wafl suspension due to the AFL bye? Or would he potentially be allowed to play for EP if they make the second final, yet be unavailable to play in the AFL?
Its difficult for him to build his tank/keep it up when he gets dropped from the seniors every second week and then held back from EP as an emergency.Nelson has faded out of the game a bit since half time. Needs to build his tank over the off season if he wants to transition into a midfielder
East Fremantle were into him a lot behind play all day. Had a lot of gut punches to deal with. That combined with the flught back from Adelaide would've made him tire fast today.Nelson has faded out of the game a bit since half time. Not if they want McCarthy or Lobb.
McCarthy has 2 more years to run on.his contract so Freo will be forced to part with their first and possibly a swap of picks.
Powell Pepper is not the type WC would draft... Unless he is a private school boy ofcourse
Are you certain - I also thought McCarthy was out of contract at the end of this year.No it wasn't
Still contracted for next year

Duggan will be a legit gun.Too early write off 2014. Duggan has a ton of class but is having the second year blues after a pcl injury. Nelson has been good.
Once he puts on a bit more size, he will be a weapon around the congestion. Has poise, great decision making and skills. However, he needs to go back to playing as a half back flanker when he isnt on a wing or in the middle.Duggan will be a legit gun.

Correct you are. Apologies.
FFS - it was a fourth round pick. Risk and reward time. The AFL do not allow you to do a medical on the draftees.I think Cavkas issues were known. We thought we got a steal when he fell to our pick. Seems the other teams did their homework.
Beat mastenAt the risk of being wrong twice in not many posts, Cavka was healthy when drafted wasn't he? He performed well over pre season.

This is the most informative thread on our board. Love all of you fools who watch and post here.
Why is no one sticking up for Redden? He flew twice the day before a WAFL game ffs, cut him some slack.
because his stats flattered him. Pretty sure he had like 10 touches next to his name mid way through the third. it was clear he lacked both strength and fitness. There were moments he would win the ball and just get tackled so easily. redden of old would have either broken then or got a clean handball away. This is the most informative thread on our board. Nah, he's miles off AFL standard.Question for the WAFL watchers. How's Maginness tracking - is he worth a spot on our rookie list instead of Lucas/Colledge?
what happened to the EP 3rd, 4th and 5th best?
