I see that a lot on here want Mitch Brown moved on but i see a bit of value for him, if he doesn't want to leave WA. I would have Barrass over him in the side but for the sake of depth and possibly developing another young KPD i think Brown has some Value. I would be interested to see if simmo uses him at both ends of the ground at WAFL and even have him run in the ruck some times.

Sounds like Lycett responded well. Surely makes his way back into the side for Giles/McInnes against the Dons.

Also really happy with the way Jacko's been going about it recently. Had a quieter second half, but his ball winning has been impressive since moving into the midfield, and I think his attributes of being hard at the footy, defensive oriented, clean & composed with ball in hand and versatile will hold him in really good stead and seems to fit into Simmo's ideal mould. Will hopefully make his way into the team over Hutch/Reddo.

Partington injured, lower leg injury I think it was.

You're getting mixed up with James Thomson.
friends of mine knew him at Christchurch and said he played wing because he was a gun runner. Not sure about Claremont

I saw parting ton sitting in the lower stand as I was leaving the ground - no outward signs of any injury as in crutches/moon boot/ice pack etc and if it was serious I don't think he'd still be sitting around watching the league side so hopefully it's only something minor

How was Nelsons game ? And yes i know what his stats were..
Didn't have a big first quarter but was influential after particularly in the second when he was a big part of east Perth taking control of the game

Showed a bit of dash running and carrying the ball down the wing at one point before delivering a nice 50m kick to his forwards advantage near the goal square that should have resulted in a goal but he missed the set shot

He's still playing with a nice touch of aggression/niggle which is something we lack. Don't think he'll be out of the Eagles side much longer

What was his disposal like? Also how's his ability to get his arms free in a tackle?

Luke Partington: Busy early in reserves but damaged a hamstring.
If its +6 weeker, then we should just rest him up and get him in the gym to get his body to the standard of an AFL inside mid.

But just his upper-body?
