Could only imagine how difficult it would be. The excitement of getting drafted and basically immediately moving to city you have never been in. Then trying to play a few days later in a game where you call 80% of the players mate because you dont know there name. Not to mention against grown men rather than boys.

Chesser looks underdone liked how he tried to use some pace and run with the ball at the start the quarter Even if it didn’t work out. Barnett has had some moments he’s going to be a big unit
It's good we haven't been forced to play Chesser who needs match fitness clearly. You can see that Trew can't break a tag at WAFL level. Pretty impressive that Maric got a goal given we have 16 inside 50s for the match.
The worst game of footy I have seen - shambolic. Can't hit simple targets by hand or foot. I know most of our guys are from the bush leagues, or whatever, but so many of them make little effort. Browne and Sambo, I think it is, go okay. No 61, whoever it is, running into an open goal and hits the point post. Maric unsighted that quarter - was he even out there? He is very lightweight against the men out there - still only 18, of course, and needs a year or two in the gym. Overall, disappointing.

Man, I can’t watch these campaigners. They seemingly have no interest in what they are doing out there at all. The ball comes towards them, and they just stand there and watch it float towards their head and watch their opponent put their hands up and take the Mark, while they stand there with an arms down, playing with themselves.
They seemingly don’t know where to stand at a contest, and don’t know how to read the ball on the ground or in the air. It’s like watching kids play football who have never played before.
It’s a ****ing joke. Barnett is the only one that showed anything today.
