Which part of Shanghai? If you're closer to Luwan, then The Camel Sports Bar is as close as you're ever going to get to an Aussie pub type atmosphere.
They do a decent chicken parma as well.
I think it's owned by an Aussie and you can pretty much watch any sporting event (even Bathurst) there.
There is another one in Pudong somewhere but the atmosphere isn't as good.

I think I tried to get to that place when I was there a few years ago. I was staying in Luwan so I missed out on the first half of a Friday night game trying to get there so ended up settling for The Camel.
If I had to choose between the two, I'd go with Camel. Grand Final day a few years back was awesome there. The roar when Buddy kicked the goal against the Pies the week before was one of the few times I've heard everyone in a pub go nuts.
