If the Saints' opponents reciprocate their negative approach, it makes for very bland football. But having said that last years grand final is the best game of football that I've ever seen.

And frankly I can't believe that Hawks supporters are complaining about St Kilda beign boring, at the moment the Hawks are playing a crap version of Saints football.

You need to watch more football.

Hawks are playing like Geelong, handball and play on at all costs. We just happen to be doing it badly at the moment.

Good on Port. Was really egging for them on in that final term. Rodan is amazing considering he had a knee reco at the start of the season.

Hahaha funny that's hilarious and that's what won them a premiership. We flood and so do a lot of teams these days. Our style is as much as Sydney and Hawthorn put together.

Good teams bounce back, they go back in and look at their mistakes. Take Geelong for example they were knocked off by a quality opposition one week and come out and pole axed another the next week. I'm not saying that tonight was great but this is a perfect example for our boys to take in and learn from their mistakes.

So glad they won, sainters are boring to watch, that is not the type of footy you want to be playing for 22 rounds, they will be stuffed by finals..

I cannot work out how they keep winning, they get smashed just about every game yet manage to win, I blame most of it on opposition inaccuracy in front of goal!!

Finally, and it won't be the last, as without Sir divesalot (Nick Riewoldt) it seems both their free kick count and their win count is going south very quickly.

Would be great for the game of AFL if their gamestyle fails big time, and they miss the top 4.

The OP is spot on. I'm sure the Sainters will come on and blame Port for tonight's snoozefest but 'Saints Footy' is complete and utter bollocks. You might as well watch Super XIV. In one game we had a young developing team taking chances in an open exciting game and in Adelaide we had Rugby Union. Thank God for David Rodan.

You keep your Saints footy, I prefer premiership footy. At least I'll sleep well after watchng that shit.

So much unnecessary flooding you just cringe when there was a ball up inside Ports 50 as you knew it would be followed by 5 more ball-ups with nearly all the Saints players back there.

Glad we won but low scoring games are a snoozefest
