There must be a heap of 'delusional, one-eyed peanuts' out there, given Krakouer's mark is in the record books as the 2011 Mark of the Year over Walker's, as determined by the public vote...God, what absolute bullshit. Umpiring under 9’s doesn’t equate to playing at a standard of footy where hangers are regularly taken.
Pack marks - multiple players to leap into/on top of, easier to balance, less likely to give away a free kick or be seen with hands in the back, easier to judge the flight and the highest point due to multiple players all tracking the same kick.
Walker was basically a small run up behind 1 player and whilst the timing was perfect, he got too bloody high forcing a chest mark - the only knock on the mark. He jumped on Carlisle’s shoulders with no help from his arms or any security of landing on other players around him.
Seriously, only a delusional, one-eyed peanut would think Krakouers mark was better.
