BULL *IN s**t. It hit the rope with such power, that it bounced off it into the crowd.

I've watched the replay multiple times now as I thought maybe I was seeing things but nope 100% that was 4, maybe this is one of those new yanny and laurel things....

Healy too good and deserved the win anyway.

The Sixers win all but guarantees their qualification for the finals as the Scorchers only have two games left and can only reach 17pts.
Made no difference anyway Healy hit that last ball for 4, and would have won the game regardless
Changes the way the Scorchers set the field for the final ball, perhaps changes Healy's avenue to a boundary and therefore the result of the game.

I've seen it a few times too and because the ball was hit with such power and never got more than four or five metres off the ground, it hit the top (or very near the top) of the rope with such force that the rope dug into the ground (explains the puff of dust) before bouncing up and catapulting the ball into the air.

It a six all the way

Gair the way she was batting she’s send that one for six

True. Anyway, who cares, Healy's back in form, the Sixers are looking good and are now 3pts clear on top of the table and favourites to host the final.:)

Hodge knows the T20 game inside out and offers good insight. Nephew played against him once and after the game he spent half an hour him talking to him about his batting, when he didn't need to. Would rather listen to him than anyone else doing these games.
That maybe the case, but his ability to predict what is going to happen next ball is nothing short of absolute sh!t. Gardner had just hit consecutive sixes and he predicted that Gardner would finish it in style, instead she was bowled. My comment was tough in cheek.

Hurricanes for me in the final pending Redmayne not being fit.

Yo be fair that ball gets 99% of bats out was unplayable

Hurricanes are probably my pick too, but I'm not discounting the Strikers, that bowling unit can cause all sorts of damage, their batting unit needs to lift.

Yep fair Striker would be my third pick. I’ve weirdly enjoyed this season even allowing for the Thunder being diabolical

She tried to finish it in style. Hodge was right, should have bowled King. Might have still lost, but they wouldn't have hit two sixes off her in the first two balls.

Gardner would have she loves spin

Sad news for Molineux, she has done her ACL and will be out for an extended period.
Wonder if she had done something earlier in the match and the way she planted her foot after her delivery saw it finally give way, because it was such an innocuous incident that you wouldn't expect an ACL in injury just from that
