Some interesting implications.

1. My understanding of the various government funding we received (particularly from the council) meant that there would be a community use aspect to the KCC. Yet now the council is basically building community facilities around us.

2. I wonder if the council plan to leverage the fact they're building this around an elite sporting facility? By that I mean would they consider paying the club to administrate and maintain everything.

3. The amount of young elite athletes that will be performing on our doorstep opens the door to discovering a lot more Cat-B rookie potentials.

Exciting times.

This is going to sound like a dumb question.

With the close proximity to Moorabbin airport, can a private charter plane be used by the club for flying to interstate matches?

I am sure enough supporters would fly in a charter plane with them if given a chance to meet costs.

Anyone know of aviation laws and whether this is possible. And the cost of a charter flight

It’s interesting that local govt’s and sports clubs get to develop land in the green zone while private owners are SOL.
Part of a green wedge plan is for parklands.

This proposal is within green wedge guidelines
