Go back and look at the results from those years.

Much like those forgettable Bulldogs teams, we consistently make top 4 but ultimately just make up the numbers in finals and get fairly effortlessly bounced when it counts by the genuinely contending teams.

No opposition fans, or anyone outside of the four walls at Alberton, truly fear us / think we’re a genuine threat to the flag - and they’re right.

I wish the club had some balls to make a change, but I’m fearful that management is content to float along being the Brad Johnson

Wow, Bulldogs came up against a Hawthorn team readying itself for a three peat, and a Geelong side that no one could beat. It was also a time when the Saints were a strong side.

This year there was no stand out team, it was truly open, it just seems that Port loose all composure when it comes to finals, whether it’s coaching or there is a weakness easily identified by the opposition, I don’t know, but the last two years you have been playing some great home and away football, but that’s not finals football, when you have to go up a gear.

By the way I was going for you guys tonight, as everyone is sick of Cats and Swans, and Brisbane not far behind.

Absolutely. Those Bulldogs ran in to a generational cats team in that era.

We ran in to a Richmond squeaking out the last of their flag era, and a couple one and done season teams.
