Advertiser Headline (in a one hundred word piece buried in the paper somewhere virtually unfindable): Port In Like Flynn
Pfft. Advertiser headline: Port forced to go outside Australia to find players.
"Port Adelaide, just a short time after choking in the second half against Geelong, has been forced to recruit an Irishman as players shun being traded to them. Meanwhile Patrick Dangerfields cat has put the paw of success on Eddie Bett's after selecting him from photo's of potential new recruits. Things are looking bright at the Crows as season 2014 approaches."

This is great.
Did port have to push their intentions forward given the numbers he punched out yesterday? Or was this always the way they wanted to take him I wonder?
Either way I'm stoked.
Watching this kid play for the maggies next year will be just perfect. Would suck to see him playing for south or something. Viva La Reserves!!

Where do we see him starting? In the Academy? Or with the 2s?

I wonder what the Maggies are paying for the 2014 flag? Wouldn't that get up the nose of every prick in Adelaide bar us!!!

Well you'd think if we could have him playing in the academy they would to start with, hopefully he can make a smooth transition to port reserves by mid year. Look at Danny butcher, he played magpies and isn't probably worth an SANFL reserves spot even.

Very good point. Now watch ALL our players particularly young ones such as Shaw, Clurey, 'Irish' Flynn, Newton, Ah Chee etc plus this years draftees DEVELOPE quickly under the Power reserves set up with a coaching panel of the equal to any in the AFL
