We missed O'Bree and Pendlebury

Was at the G like usual, and it was obvious today that we missed both players.

Clearances seemed hard to come by, and we lacked engine and a little class.

He sometimes cops abit, but O'Bree is a very important player to us. You take out his 20-25 possessions and his bite around the clearances and it is very noticable. He muffs a few passes, but it's all about the work he does in close around the stopage and so on.

And we all know what Pendles brings to the side. Inside and outside class. We got away with it today.

Just thought I would point out how much we missed O'Bree in particular. Than god for Scotty Burns.

Yeah O'Bree and Pendlebury were sorely missed, their ability both to clear the ball and to get first hands off the ruck contest. Hopefully OB comes back this week. Lica is another one, while he was dropped and deservingly so, with #10 and 11 out he would have had a bigger role in the centre square.

Licca should have been played. We lacked bite at the clearances.

Saw some horrible traits creep into the game of one Shannon Cox today aswell. Some pretty ordinary efforts at both the man and the ball. He has a lot to work with, but he needs to find some intensity or he is going to receive the Ryan Lonie treatment very shortly and he won't be around for long at all.

Certainly did miss them. I thought Pendlebury especially. No class around the stoppages. We would win the hitout, get gang tackled and lose the clearance. Pendles would just weave out and win the clearance. Both were badly missed today.

With no second ruckman we missed pendles as the third man up as well. does it well with the BBall background as he actually hits it to the advantage of someone

We needed that grunt and hardness. Add Holland, Buckley and Licuria to that list of sidelined too.
