I disagree that we lost six picks - you can't claim to have lost what you didn't legally obtain.

Nonetheless, Essendon have effectively lost three picks here - with an upgrade on one of the remaining picks!! There is no reasonable way in which it can be argued that this penalty fits the crime unless it is simultaneously argued that we were harshly dealt with.

I fully agree that the Crows MUST make a public stink over this. There is no equity whatsoever here.

The AFL stopped us trading Tippett for White + Sydney's 1st round pick. I count this as effectively a 1st & 2nd round pick - as a minimum it is a 1st round pick we were stopped from obtaining.

Bottom line is we have lost more picks than Essendon, yet by the AFL's own words Essendon's crime was worse. WTF?

We MUST demand our picks back - no IF's & BUT's.

And not the typical Adelaide questioning,

To put this in perspective to adelaide fans, remember that ASADA will more than likely punish Essendon as well, so hopefully this is only half the punishments

So Hird can go to games, communicate with players etc. Trigg was not allowed to attend a game, walk into Adelaide Football Club and was suspended for 6 months. Wow, I don't think the AFL are serious on drug cheating at all. this is seriously not right. Trigg should be demanding reinstatement immediately. The AFC cooperated and self admitted. Well we have been screwed royally. I guess our pathetic admin didnt fight as hard as Essendon.
We wont get any picks back, our so called club admin will not push for it. They are vlads bitches, and as such they wont be fighting for us.
Hell we even gave up our 2012 picks brfore our case was even over, thats how good we were.
I hate Triggy aand Chapman more than words can describe.

In fairness to Adelaide, they were told that if they pleaded guilty without causing any ripples, they would get a lesser sentence. That was utter bullshit by the AFL who then clobbered the shit out of us.

In hindsight, seeing how Little negotiated, making statements like he had lost all faith in AFL, and that Essendon would fight the AFL in the courts etc etc., and as a result of those comments and threats, he has bludgeoned that end of first round draft pick out of the AFL if they wanted Essendon to co-operate.

Moral of the story: Never ever co-operate with the AFL nor trust the integrity of the AFL, particularly if you aren't a Victorian team. They will fkg shaft you.

I agree it won't do any good, but we should be squealing like stuck pigs to the AFL about the unfairness of these penalties in relation to draft picks.

The loss of playing in the finals in this argument means fk-all. They had absolutely zero chance of winning the flag this year - zero.
