I thought he was playing well even before this point.

Agree, don't remember the last time he fumbled! He's still got that great physicality but seem so much more in control and composure.

He has improved of late but he let a few ground balls go through his legs tonight, just needs a little polish now.

Rough first half for him but improved in the second. Umpires seem to not acknowledge his existence every time he gets tunnelled or taken high in marking contests.

Had a shaky first half but really knuckled down after HT. He’s as important as anyone from this point forward, especially given the weapons Geelong have in the form of their small forwards (Dempsey, Stengle, Miers, Close).

Loved how big Jackson tried to barrel his way through/over Lachie.
Our boy stopped him dead in his tracks with a big tackle.

The good thing is this was a game Freo were up for axwin, crowd going bunta, and our younger guys all csme through it well - Jones, Mead, Evans, Burgoyne. Even Dante showed bits and piieces.
