That said Brisbane v Freo would be an awkward Thursday night final fixture for those markets and time zones.

Pretty sure the last game played there was 2022 and that's the only game that's been played there since 2016.

The games are paired up now, 1st v. 4th and 5th v. 8th are played on Thusday Night and Friday Night, and 3rd v. 4th and 6th v. 7th are played on Saturday. Hawks have had only one night game in their past ~40 starts, imagine if they get the only daytime final.

They should but the contract says one game at the G and since Geelong finish higher, they should be allowed to have the game at GMHBA.

Good news for Port is they've won 4 of their last 5 at the MCG during 2023-24. 2014 PF (Hawks) was the last time they lost there to the six other clubs already through.
