Yeah it's probably not uncommon to a lot here, but none of my mates have ever heard of it.

You're right though, all the old adventure games from Lucas Arts and all the Police/Space/Kings Quest games had me glued to the computer as a kid

I don't think it was super uncommon but all the RDR2 hype has me remembering Gun. The controls were tough to get used to but that was a heck of a game. One of the first open world sort of games that I ever fully completed (100%). It was basically the precursor for Red Dead Redemption.

Haha I loved this game so much that I named my 2 Burmese cats Sam and Max. That title stuck in my head for some reason. My cats are Almost as nutty as the dog and rabbitty thing. I also love the Monkey Island games. Point and click Adventure games were great fun.

The re-masters were a good get on steam. Really atmospheric and immersive as some of the puzzles were quite in depth.

From a time when games didn't spoon feed you everything and there was limited internet access (if any) to check for hints (they used to print the phone numbers on the back of the manuals for tips & hints and charge a ridiculous amount of money as well as offer the printed strategy guides for $20 a game lol)

I have lost count of how many times I played MI1 & 2 through.

I still think the best was Indiana Jones & fate of Atlantis though.

The three different directions the game goes in was ground breaking at the time.

They should have made that into the 4th Indy movie
