Has been playing very good footy, kicking is improving although I never thought it was a skill issue with Adams rather a "rushing" issue. Love his attack on man and footy. Also love how Buckley is creating a hard nut approach to footy across the board expected of every player who puts the boots on no exceptions.

Agreed with all points. The worst of his shanking is behind him and I wouldn't be surprised if the root of it was him trying so hard to impress. He's come into his own this year.

What impresses me most is that Buckley has turned us in a pre-season from a team lacking inside mids to a team that is filled with grunt because everyone is willing to get their hands dirty.

Broomhead, Crisp, Adams, Blair, Varcoe. All the lesser lights in the midfield are cracking in really hard and it's amazing to see. Can't wait until De Goey is good enough to stay in the team long term. De Goey and Scharenberg will be the next Pendles/Swan combination once those two champions hang up the boots.

Bit of a dilemma for me do I stick with the Caff or tell him my affections for Adams grows stronger each game?
Adams seems really enjoying himself and gives it all. Not just the things he does as in go in hard but team things as well like the shepherd that resulted in a goal in the last qtr.

Don't agree I think its a skill issue not rushing. He is a good enough footballer to cover this deficiency buts its always going to be there. Even last night there were multiple kicks when he had time and space that landed either before the target or over there head and because we got the ball it was glossed over. I want him in the team because he is a bull but I think its hiding your head in the sand to make out like he is a decent kick now. Sure he did 1 or two nice passes but its what he does most of the time that counts. If Pendles shanks a kick you wouldn't say he is crap at kicking so if Adams does one nice pass I'm not going to say he is suddenly good at it.

He can be a very good player as long as he plays like now and handballs at every opportunity and limits the kicking options he chooses.

Helps when they play him On-Ball and not as a Flanker

Dave I saw him at the Vic Park today told him he has awesome last night. He gave me the thumbs up.

I think the real improvement is that he feels like he belongs and has nothing to prove. Confidence does wonders for a player. He is a bull love his work.
