Will he be a week in week out best 23 player or cover for Checkers & McStay? Tough to fit everyone in. To do so may mean shifting some players around, like putting Bobby up to the wing, shifting WHE or Crisp to half back alongside Houston which could free up a forward of the ball position for Membrey. I would like to see him as a 3rd banana, get under the guard of a weak defender and have a 50+ goal season, this could work, he has the smarts.

We're unlikely to have everyone fit that often to find out. But considering we looked at Stringer first - I think it's best 22. Membrey into Elliott's role and Elliott, Schultz, Hill and McCreery rotating through Lippa's role as well as the small forward roles

To those saying 50+ goals, let’s not get ahead of ourselves here ok? Coming to the pies isn’t going to make him a 10-20 goal per year better forward than he has been previously.

30+ goals while easing the pressure on McStay and Checkers would be a sensational result, we don’t have to set unachievable expectations and then get disappointed that the 30 year old we recruited for free hasn’t become one of the premier forwards of the comp…

Were far better off with 3-4 guys all kicking around 30-40 goals than the Carlton model of winning the Coleman every year and **** all else

They keep it in a jar and make all new recruits suck it to honour the level of self sacrifice they expect. It's just like the 35 for draftees tradition we had, albeit a bit more gross.
