Yes I agree, we are now learning that growing up he was a small and a very skinny kid and no chance of selection in the under age representative teams ( rather than lacking ability).

This has changed over the last couple of years and as a late developer he just may have more scope for improvement than his selection spot suggested.

Obviously Freo were keeping close tabs on him and when Brisbane came calling he ( and Freo I am guessing) had an alternative plan.

His highlights were surprisingly good and with that running and marking ability and some serious time in the gym we just might have a bargain, we all ready know he will be tough and uncompromising ( how could he not be with his dad and Uncle).
