Henry has a lot of catching up to do to get anywhere near a career like Danyle Pearce had.

If he gets anywhere close to that type of career the Saints will be laughing.

Prepare to watch them laugh.

Watch RTB whip him into shape and become their best player.. Oh they'll be laughing.

He's not becoming their best player obviously, but he could be one of their most important. All he really needs to do is improve the power side of his kicking, his confidence at goals and continue his form from the second half of this year and his addition will be a big boost structurally for the Saints.

His kicks have all the penetrative power of oyster penis, so, yes, he would be better if he could improve the power side of his kicking.

Ideally, you want your transition players to run 10 or 20 and kick 30 or 40. A good wing does what Liam could potentially do in a third of the effort and opportunity for error. He's mincing around doing three or four dinky little chip kicks to cover the same ground gained by one dash from a genuine wing.

He's not particularly fast. Add that to the fact he can't kick the skin off a custard and you have quite a bit of remedial work to do.

If he gets more of the pill as his career progresses, it'll be a function of teams letting him.

Wouldn't kicking the skin off a custard require more precision than power? You add more power, and you have no custard at all.

Henry and D. Pearce about the most unalike 2 players can be.

The comparison was in terms of how Lyon's game plan in the main relies on certain players as trusted distributor types. He gives some players a kind of controlled freedom while the rest of the team plays a contested and defensive game that puts the clamps on the opposition to prevent them playing the way they want.

Adding Henry to B. Hill, Wanganeen-Milera and Sinclair will give them one more of the playmaker type that Lyon's game plan needs to make the defensive side of it work on the scoreboard, in a similar way that adding D Pearce to a team helped spread the load that had been carried mostly by S Hill and the Duffield, Mundy types. We probably didn't have that many.

In terms of Henry's trade worth its a specific St Kilda need to add a player like him to their best 22, rather than just a nice talent who wants to come to their club and that they have to figure out how to use. So I'm saying that there's more to it than just Henry going there on a whim because Colon told him that's where he can earn himself some more money or because Liam gets on well with Brad Hill, or because Ross brought one of his ties or SOS picked him at 9 in the 2019 draft, or whatever.

I've never disliked a turncoat as much as I dislike this worm.
There's been a few over the years.

Not really.
Honestly believe St Kilda have too many players competing for that role. Shill Henry Sinclair. Overload of front runners then don’t apply defensive pressure the other way, which is Ross’ motto

Seems like a weird decision to me to go after Henry. They also have Wanganeen-Milera (sure, maybe he has been playing HBF a lot, but would think he is a wing/mid long term). Mason Wood as well played OK on the wing and gives that size you need to help in the air.
