Looking forward to hearing about his favourite grocery storeI wonder how many back pages in a row The West will dedicate to Shai.

Why do you want to go backwards next year?I am a bit scared about this trade.
No Doubt Shai Bolton is a proven quality player.
But Picks 10, 11, 18 for Shai Bolton, pick 14 and a 2025 3rd rounder is a bit steep and risky.
I preferably would of rather keep those 3 picks and got 3 more kids in the draft.
Just a warning, If we dont make finals in 2025, there will be people sinking the boots on us.
I think this was a bad Idea in my opinion to trade that much to get him.
I hope I am proven wrong.
If we don'take finals in 2025 I really hope people sink the boots into us. I hope they do it quite ruthlessly.I am a bit scared about this trade.

The lesser Freo team in the WAFLNo he didnt. Brian played for Geelong. East Freo product.

Making finals is the 2025 low bar.
Anything less than top 4 is a failure. We want for nothing talent wise, the age bracket is basically perfect and they've all played a significant number of games together. Absolutely no excusesIf we don't at the very least win a final in 2025 or finish top 4 I would sink the boots in, expectations should be a lot higher than just making finals.
Carn the Sharkers! What the actual **** are you talking about, DQ 4ever?
We have won more than twice the amount of flags, four times as many Brownlow medals, have more Sandover medals, more Derby wins. Souths haven't produced a Rising Star, but the East Fremantle Breeding Ground of Champions has produced 4.
Apart from self-delusion, there isn't a single metric South Fremantle outperform East Fremantle in.
Not a one.
And I think you know that.

With Fyfe almost done we are still a bit off in the midfield. That is where I see the other hole to be filled. No doubt Shai is important but at 25 he has peaked. Thats good in one way, instant quality, experience, top of his game. Its such a knife edge.Anything less than top 4 is a failure. We are the most cake team in the league. Not convinced Shai is any kind of 'missing piece' but maybe thats because I HATE 'star player' syndrome. I understand the logic. Hope to be converted.
As I said above only probs a single spot in the midfield I can see as an issue. We def needed a quality small fwd. We have one now for sure. Is he the right one ... time will tell.We are the most cake team in the league.
Shai is some icing, which we have little of, and desperately lack on the ground in the forward half.
I think the biggest difference he will make will be downhill skiing when we dominate. This is usually looked down on, but we are desperate for some players that put teams to the sword when we are right on top. We don't do this and let teams back in.As I said above only probs a single spot in the midfield I can see as an issue. We def needed a quality small fwd. We have one now for sure. The highlights reel posted earlier in this thread pretty much supports this. It will be good to thump a few teams other than Melbourne ... really boost percentage and put games out of reach so we dont get stuck with Essendon style debacles.I think the biggest difference he will make will be downhill skiing when we dominate. Reckon Raz is coming in next season. Him and NOD will become fixtures. 1 & 2 BOG in the WAFL GF.Fyfe looked so shot towards the end of the season almost any of the mids that replace him will at min break even with his output. As much as I love the dude I see Fyfe dropping out of the team as a positive
Yep, probably worth a few wins and decent % over a year. Plus he plays a couple of blinders a year where he can win a game off his own boot. The highlights reel posted earlier in this thread pretty much supports this. Hopefully Johnson has a breakout season and Ras can step up too. With Fyfe almost done we are still a bit off in the midfield. That is where I see the other hole to be filled. Now we have Shai, has anybody thought how he will impact the other players .
Don't you think knowing you have this type of player in the team it would lift the confidence in everyone.
I know as a supporter I definitely am more confident for next year..
My favourite player to watch on TV is here.Happy Days
I choose to read that as 3 flags in purpleGood luck to Shai, you have an absolute ripper on your books. Hard telling my 2 young boys their favourite player(after Dusty) had left the club but we’ll still enjoy watching him from afar.
Good luck Shai, hope you win your 3rd flag in the purple.
